It was the hype around Caleb that screwed him. His junior season in college everyone was saying he was a surefire all star, we throw "generational talent" around too casually these days, but all the pundits were saying this was THE dude. 🤷 He went to a team that scratched and clawed to 7 wins last year with BAD QB play, so everyone thought that even average QB play would get this into the playoffs…. People forget this league is freaking HARD. Transitions aren't always smooth and easy. And especially when your o-line sucks and your offensive coaching staff doesn't know what they're doing. Has he played well? No. he has not. But he didn't have the best guidance for a rookie either

As a Chiefs fan who hates the Bengals, Chase is severely underrated. JJ gets the #1 title from everyone and that’s fine, but Chase is right there
Well….Deebo hasn't exactly earned his money this season, and something tells me if during one of his bad games Purdy came by and told him to get his head in the game and FOCUS, that wouldn't go well. AND when the long snapper isn't allowed to punch Deebo back, it's really pretty shitty to choke him out to begin with. Very low class move.
Jaden is also about 99 pounds, soakin' wet. His "dancer's build" isn't for long in the NFL.
Lamar has finally begun developing the velocity control for more layered touch passes. A LOT of these cannon arm QBs just launch it which removes a huge amount of potential throwing windows. The purdy pass to CMC on a double move against the bucs is an example of something an anthony Richardson couldn't complete currently because he lacks any touch.
Bit harsh on Moody, made his kick in the SB (Missed an EP blocked), made all his kicks this season pre injury bar one and comes back from injury and has his second bad game since he joined. Yeah if its a run then by all means, but he's been good for us.

12:25 Interesting thing about Bates is when he played for the hogs he wasn’t even our field goal guy. He just did kickoffs. We had Cam Little who was really good for us while Bates was here.
