Can I Break 70 at Pennsylvania’s 3rd Best Golf Course?!

In this video, I had the pleasure of trying to break 70 at The Philadelphia Cricket Club’s Wissahickon Course. Host of the 2025 Truist Championship, this A.W. Tillinghast designed course is one of the best courses in the state of Pennsylvania! Let me know in the comments what course you would like to see me at next!

  1. Thank you for adding this to your list of great Philadelphia area courses. I played here as well , a long time ago. This is a gem of a place . The area around the course has changed a bit . I hope this course lives on!

  2. Tell Johnny C to stop talking to your ball 😂. Another great video Jake, love the content. For people wondering how you can get onto all these course, just be a member at one of them and a good dude and you can find yourself with a lot of invites…doesn’t hurt to be a stick like Jake as well.

  3. I play there every year for a work outing and we can’t even break par in a 4 person scramble lmao

  4. Love the vids. Only suggestion I would make is try to watch the negative self talk and constant attention to the score. Think that might make you happier and the vibes for the video higher . Cheers on your journey

  5. Your playing partners sounded like those obnoxious fans at tour events.
Very nice course. Thanks for sharing your round.

  6. This is my home club and the tees I play, but man do we have different yardages into these holes! Im usually hitting 5W into 18 compared to your 50°. 😂

  7. John Clark works out at LA Fitness (not lifetime), and plays baller courses. My kinda guy. Jake if you ever need someone to hold the camera for you, I'd love to play!

  8. Great video! I played the Philadelphia Cricket Club years ago in an outing, and No. 2 was definitely the most memorable hole for me. I really like your editing style — the pacing is perfect, and the mix of good info and trivia makes it even more enjoyable.

  9. Cool seeing John Clark. I played there a couple times, lucky the ruff was cut that short. When we hit it in the ruff it was like loosing a shot. And the greens were like pool table tops. Top 5 hardest courses I've ever played.

  10. My home club is a Tillinghast also and the similarities are fun to see. Played this course in a charity event several years ago w local radio legend Mikey Miss, had a great time, the place is pure class!

  11. Right around the corner from me! Super cool to see you playing all these nice courses in the area. Would love to see you get out to Merion or Aronimink one day!
