In this video we’ll take you through the incredible Tot Hill Farm Golf Club. Designed by legendary golf architect, Mike Strantz (famously known for designing Tobacco Road, True Blue, and Caledonia), Tot Hill Farm is one of the best golf courses in the world, and it was recently brought back to life by a massive restoration project. We’re so glad to see Mike Strantz’s amazing artistic talent on full display in this one-of-a-kind public golf course. Featuring amazing elevation changes, stunning water features, and beautiful rock formations, Tot Hill Farm boasts 18 incredible holes of golf.

  1. I was brought by a friend to Tot Hill Farm about 8 years ago and it was great! Love the Mike Strantz course, he had a vision that was so player centric. He proved you don’t need a big name to create legendary courses

  2. That was fantastic fellas, what a beautiful course, just stunning…Great vid, I really enjoyed that ⛳️🏌‍♂️👍 keep 'em coming

  3. I haven’t seen Tot Hill Farm in person but from some of what I see in this video it looks like what Mike Strantz might have done if he designed Crystal Springs.

*great wedge over that rock by the way.

  4. Tot Hill Farm is definitely a quirky, yet fun course. I prefer it to Tobacco Road. It's a shame it doesn't get the same recognition

  5. I’ve played that course numerous times and it never plays the same every time I play it. Haven’t been since the new owners took over but it looks like the gem it use to be. Great video guys!

  6. Great video guys. I love the Strantz design. Played Tobacco Road last year for the first time and now I have to add this one to the list!

  7. Played here for the first time the same day you filmed. Place is special, also helps the cause getting an ace on 15 during your first loop

  8. Man I miss playing THF for around $50. Used to play it all the time. I live about 30 minutes away. I was so bummed when they tripled to the rate after the restoration. I get that restorations cost money but I just can’t justify $150. The course is fun but there are tons of really good courses around here that are in great shape for $50. I just think THF is overpriced now.

  9. It is hard to believe that you can play a rocky "mountain" course with trout steams about one hour away from the sandy pine trees of Pinehurst. I think I posted a comment on your tobacco road video suggesting you check this course out and I am glad to see you did. Good video.

  10. Thanks for producing the video and sharing a great story. Did i miss in the video and description where this course is located? Also strong video title 🖱️👀

  11. Played it today. Wow, the post renovations are absolutely amazing. Loved this place. Shot 71 from the tips and couldn't be happier

  12. This course was built on my Grandfather's family farm, where he, and eventually my mom, spent their summers. I'm so happy to see it coming back to life, and can't wait to play it. I just wish my great grandparents could see how their favorite place on earth is becoming a favorite place to so many others!

  13. Played it once when I was a pastor in Sanford, NC. It was a beautiful challenge. I hope to play there again one day.

  14. If you love Strantz, you need to get to Williamsburg and play Royal New Kent. You'll love it.

  15. I’m so glad you got to play it multiple times. Most people can’t justify playing it more than once at $120-$150 a round.

also, I’m curious how y’all stay open because whenever I look at teetimes for this course almost every single one of them is available.

  16. I made a detour on my way to Myrtle Beach probably 17 years ago and played here. Really cool design, typical Strantz haha. Happy to hear they are giving it the love it deserves!

  17. Last time I played there before the remodeling it was $45. Now it's $125. What a joke. $80 price increase just for a good tee box on #4.

  18. Would always stop at Tot Hill on our way down to Pinehurst for our annual golf trip. Never paid more than $50. When they jacked it up to $150 this year, it was a unanimous "No" from all 12 of us. Too bad cause it is a great course. I think the $4 million they put into renovations would have been better served to put into marketing to get more play. I can't imagine where they could have possibly put $4 mil into renovations. The course was always a great lay out and in good shape.

  19. Great design by Mike Strantz, I see it has been renovated. This course will not survive at $150 bucks a round, give us a break. This place will go bankrupt in the near future if fees are not reduced.

  20. fun video to watch ! Gotta put Tot Hill on my list. I am a huge fan of Mike Strantz and have played True Blue, Caledonia and Royal New Kent.
