EUGENE, Ore. — Oregon women’s golf head coach Derek Radley announced the addition of two student-athletes for the Ducks’ 2025 signing class on Thursday.

Sophie Han and Shyla Singh both inked athletics scholarship agreements to join the Ducks as freshmen for the 2025-26 season.

“I am excited to welcome our 2025 class to the Duck family,” Radley said. “They both have extremely impressive junior resumes and have competed at a high international level. They are going to fit perfectly into our culture and I can’t wait to welcome them with open arms next fall.”

Sophie Han | Hong Kong, China

Currently the 117th ranked amateur in the world, Han will join the Ducks next season as one of the top international talents in the class of 2025. A member of the Hong Kong National Team, Han picked up the most notable win of her career to date earlier this year at the Reignwood CLPGA Classic while competing against professionals. She competed in the Women’s Amateur Asia-Pacific Championship each of the last two years, finishing third overall in 2023, and she placed second at the 2023 IMG Academy Junior World Championship.

“Sophie has had incredible success at a young age, including in her time with the Hong Kong National Team and while competing on the professional circuit,” Radley said. “Sophie is an elite ball striker with loads of talent and I am so excited to watch her compete on college golf’s biggest stage. She comes from an extremely loving and supportive home, sky is the limit with this one and I am so thankful she is a Duck.”

Shyla Singh | Gold Coast, Australia

A member of the Australian National Team, Singh has collected three wins on the junior circuit since 2022, including at the 2024 Australian Girls’ Amateur. She also competed in the USA vs. Australia Team Match earlier this year, and posted top-10 finishes at the Jack Newton International Junior Classic, the Queensland Amateur Championship and the Avondale Bowl. Singh won the 2023 NSW Amateur and the 2022 Victorian Junior Masters, and she placed sixth at the 2023 Australian Girls’ Amateur before winning the event in 2024.

“Shyla has competed all over the world during her very successful junior career, including with the Australian National Team,” Radley said. “She knows how to win on the big stage, which she showcased this past April at the Australian Girls’ Amateur Championship. Shyla will be a unique addition to our program as a left-handed golfer, and we are really excited about what she is going to bring to our program both on and off the course. She comes from a wonderful family and will be a perfect fit with us here at Oregon.”
