We all dream about shooting crazy low scores, but what exactly needs to happen to make those dreams into a reality?
To find out, we looked up two extremely qualified guys to help break it down. Mark Broadie single-handedly turned how pros look at statistics upside down. His popular “Strokes Gained” method measures a golfer to his peers by the thousand of a decimal point on a variety of categories including off the tee, putting, approach shots by distance, etc. The other expert in this video proudly holds one of the lowest scores ever recorded in professional golf, Stephan Jaeger, who shot an astounding 58 in 2016.
Mark and Stephan explain there are three crucial factors for every round shot at 62 or lower, as well as a putting drill Mark set up for Stephan to help improve his putting statistics from 7 to 11 feet. A lot of skill and a little bit of luck all factor into the art of going low in golf, and this is the blueprint to do it. Watch it on Long Shots presented by CDW.
