I'd rather CC play professional golf than play basketball with a bunch of women of color who think she's popular because she's white. I don't watch golf. Actually, it's a very boring game to watch, but at least CC wouldn't be attacked by people who wear fake 2-inch nails, fake eyelashes & fake hair. The WNBA showed their a$$. If they had welcomed all the new fans most of them would have supported CC as well as their local teams. Just like amazon "Hey we see you love CC, we also have this player and the other player who are also awesome." Fking marketing. This is the effect of players like Jordan, Ronaldo and Messi. People loved them but they still had their teams and learned to appreciate other players as well. As a result of the past season a million fans have vowed to tune in strictly for one player. What an epic fumble.

They’re paid more than they’re worth. The W is profitable.
"She is the reflection of what should happen in women 's sports…." This is true, but also what fellow female athletes need to grasp, is CC is also showing them the equation and product that will get them there. Not activism, not 70pt games of boring cookie cutter fundamentals, not unprofessional drama OFF the court, not bully ball, not "woe is we…." CC keeps trash talk on the court like a pro, and off court carries her media persona like a pro. You don't get that sort of attention or solid support just by showing up, you have to individually plan it, apply intelligence and EARN it. If you're drama queen that is the brand and product you will grow, and it will be very niche and unstable because it is fluffed by pity support, not BB or sports fans. Strong bases built on skillset plus mature branding will last longer and grow stronger. Simple maths that no amount of tantrums or "not fair" will change. Being good at the sport will in games, butthe equation for greatness and attracting fans takes more.
Question is why is she the first to get 28 million?
Caitlin is gone from the WNBA because they allowed her to be abused, neglected and underpaid. Shes going to Europe where she is hailed as the premier star.❤
