I went to High school in North Fort Myers. Shell factory opened in the late 1930's. Mini golf is quite a bit newer. They tried to put in an amusement park at the Shell Factory in the late 1980's. It really didn't work out. I think mini golf came in after that. It's not near as old as Jungle Golf down toward Ft Myers Beach.
That's a mini golf course at its best.

I went to the site for this course and all it says is "…for over 80 years…"
In the future, to make it more fun. When there are two holes on the course, after you've taken the first stroke, you should go for the hole that is furthest from your ball.

Remember this city was hit badly by Hurricane Ian in 2022 and 15-foot storm surges flooding the streets. I'd expect an outdoor course to have a slower recovery from that.

It's courses like this, that are fun to just enjoy the play. Not to really compete.
This would have been a much better video if you had not bitched about the course from the first hole to the last hole. You could see what the course was like before you started so just don’t play it. I watch all your videos and find them entertaining and fun to watch. This video did not show either of you in a favorable light.

The grounds here are really pretty, but the course really needs a ton of TLC. Makes me a little sad every time you're here, to see it slowly decaying.

Brooks, it’s okay to give Elisha a penalty stroke. We all know you would have penalized yourself for what happened to Elisha on 18 if instead it would have happened to you. You are way too nice to her lol. I see you do this all the time too. Prime example was that ball launcher at one of the courses awhile back where your ball got stuck even though you hit it and it should have been a hole in one but it was instead a machine malfunction and you gave yourself a 2 🤦🏻♂️like, we all know you would have given Elisha a 1 if that would have happened to her. Cmon man. I want to root for you but sometimes you make it so hard. All in all, though, great video! Tough tough course! Thanks for the upload 😊

Elisha, your sarcasm and dry humor are appreciated. It is the best way to tell the truth about the situation. What would help the courses is metal railings on the inside of the bricks.
Fort Myers-Caoe Coral local here. The Shell Factory has been around for longer than 80 years. It is an OG old Florida tourist trap, popular amongst visitors and locals alike.

Ok this place needs a total overhaul. Throw those bricks away, clean up the place and makwe something new. The holes do not make a lot of sense!

This was definitely one of the more difficult videos to sit through given the frustration of the course. Having said that, I didn't expect either of you to get any holes in one, not because of your skill, but because of the weirdness of the course, so having gotten two. Great job! And thank you, guys, for suffering through courses like this for our "enjoyment" We appreciate it!
