Spring Creek Golf Course for Sale
A golf course that has been in the community for decades has been listed for $3.2 million.
The 126-acre, 18-hole Spring Creek course southeast of Sioux Falls was built in 1994 and sits along the Big Sioux River adjacent to Good Earth State Park at Blood Run.
It’s owned by the South Dakota Parks and Wildlife Foundation and originally was considered for potential park expansion. That’s not in play now though, so the course is on the market and the proceeds will be used to fund other outdoor improvements.
Minnesota and Russell
A new, large building on the corner of Minnesota and Russell is for Xcel Energy to support its fleet maintenance and warehousing needs next to an existing service center. The plan is to move in there yet this year.
Across the street, several buildings are available on the Maguire property. Maguire moved to a new headquarters in northeast Sioux Falls, which means a lot of office and industrial space is available on that former campus. Some of it already has drawn interest because it sits on a rail line.
