Another fundamental that almost everyone agrees with universally is: HEAD STILL ☝🏻
I have a tendency to move my head toward the target on the downswing (especially with Driver).
Any suggestions for keeping the head in place, as the rest of your body rotates toward the target.
I notice your head moves a bit in the downswing as well
(look at the trees behind you from face on); it’s even more apparent on the tennis player, and Ohtani, moving his head toward the target pretty dramatically.
Most experts say you can TURN your head slightly, but no lateral (or up & down) movement.
Do you allow some head movement?

Hey Tom, I have a real habit of swiveling from the top and my hips move backwards. At the top of the backswing I look great but struggle to get my hips through more forward from that position (I guess an actualy reverse pivot… 😢) – any advice or swing thoughts to resolve this? Thanks!

Tom…buddy….most pitchers in baseball lift their left foot off the ground, shift to their right foot, and drive off the back foot to bring power….they wouldn't be able to get near their speed if they stayed on their front foot!!!….alo, MANY hitters shift back first before the come forward…..some even STAY on their BACK foot!!….I think I know what you are saying, but be careful of the comparisons to the sports!
Hi Tom, I think your method can help so many golfers out there. Now, I don't think it's necessary to say that weight shift is an absolute waste of effort. It has its place and function. The problem is that the vast majority of golfers out there won't ever be able to benefit from it and will rather harm themselves by trying. Taking that variable out undoubtedly simplifies the golf swing, providing a path of much less resistance to consistent ball striking to recreational golfers. That's where your concept is extremely valuable. The fact that a successful long drive professional does what you advocate validates your approach. What it doesn't validate is that tour players who do are wasting effort shifting weight. There are various ways to become proficient at golf. I believe yours is the best way for most golfers.
Do you have any videos on timing the release of the club through impact? I have had problems, picking the ball, not compressing the ball

It has taken some time to overcome the muscle memory of my previously poorly executed golf swing, but I made it happen. With stack and tilt I am consistently hitting a nice draw instead of a wicked slice. Thanks for your coaching and reinforcements.
Hi Tom, why don't you put a 60 year old on your channel, and get him to swing like you do. I will better even money he will not be able to get his body into the angles that you do, and make a satisfactory contact and shot..Can you prove me wrong please…thanks
Well, interesting technique presented by a nice and handsome guy.
Maybe it’s working, BUT why there is NO player on any of the professional Golf Tours that uses this technique?
And in addition I have to tell you Mike that you are completely wrong in your comparison to tennis.
In Tennis each stroke is started on the back foot, energy is loaded on the back foot and then transferred to the front foot.
Next time, please make a better research before handing out wrong information.
