The Secret Northern Ireland Golfing Gem – no one tells you about !

Hey Golf Mates, welcome back to the penultimate episode of season five! This week, we’re teeing off at the breathtaking Castlerock Golf Club, where we had the pleasure of playing not one, but both of their stunning courses—the Mussenden and the Bann.

The Mussenden Course has earned its reputation as a standout with its challenging layout and sweeping coastal views. But we’re especially excited to bring you a closer look at the Bann Course, a hidden gem that’s rarely seen online. With its rugged beauty and fairways nestled along the coastline, it quickly became a favorite. Simon was absolutely in his element, loving every moment on this picturesque course.

And for our stay, we were hosted by the wonderful City of Derry Hotel, which provided the perfect place to unwind after a day on the links. Massive thanks to their team for making us feel right at home! If you’re looking for a great stay on your own golf trip, check them out at https://www.cityhotelderry.com/.

A huge thanks to Tourism Ireland for helping make this adventure possible. If you’re planning a golf trip and want to discover more gems like Castlerock’s Bann and Mussenden courses, check out https://www.ireland.com/en-gb/things-to-do/themes/golf/golf-in-ireland/.

  5. Its easy to see, why Liam sends the ball way out to the right.

If I would of had video, swing tweaks, simulators, over fifty years ago, I might have made the PGA tour.

Over the top, casting, throwing the club, outside in, coming across the ball, that was me.

    Liam, swing tweaks.

If I can see it on your videos, so can everyone else.

Watch Mr. Barlow, when he drops his right foot back.

  7. Liam and Mr. B you have been great through this series. Simon, you went from saying nothing in the first couple of weeks to dominating the conservations. Interesting progression.
