Over the next 6 games, looking at fixtures, any computer would HAVE to expect 6 teams (Chelsea, Arsenal, Villa, Brighton, Bournemouth and Newcastle) all to leapfrog us. Even Man U and West Ham are within striking distance given their next 6 fixtures. The 6 games after that are much nicer for us.
But in my 33 years of following Forest I have never seen such a settled squad working with such cohesion. So I'm absolutely (with most fans) hoping to defy the computer. Maybe even quietly expecting. But there will be no disappointment from me if we regress to the mean, certainly not if they keep working their little cotton socks of the way they all have been. All except Milenkovic. He doesn't work hard, he works smart. And HE alone is allowed to. Pure genius of a lump of lumbering Slavic menace.
It's been close at the City Ground every time we've played them plus there's that away win with Woods' hat-trick. We're an evolved animal this srason so I'm going with a 3-1 home win COYR!!
Im an Irish trad musician in cork. I've seen musicians called ordinary or hard working suddenly click. Yates for me is that guy. There's a clip in the liverpool game where he carries the ball past about 6 liverpool players. He loses the ball finally but it's like that's all the Yates haters can see. Nuno has been telling him he can play football. Its mostly confidence and narrative.
No problem with the language barrier, Chris, Milan was very clear too!!
