Logan Cooke hits a misdirection punt Like I’ve never seen before to hit one of the greatest punts I’ve ever seen… I honestly am just so baffled by this.

  1. I'm seeing a few comments along the lines of "The snap was to his left and he just went with it". So that as a punter is absolutely something that is just forbidden, you see coverage players all release towards where you're going to kick, meaning they're not only running that direction but giving their potential blockers leverage on the opposite side. So lets say you're supposed to kick the ball right and instead kick it left, not only are your players out of position, but now you actually just set up blocks. So in no world would a punter just decide to kick it to the opposite end of the field unless it was already planned and as you can see from the first punt in this clip, he punts it right, everyone releases right, then watch this punt and his gunners release to the left further showing it was planned from the start. Next time I'll go into further detail about how I know it's a trick punt.

  2. You know I am no punter for the NFL. However, I’ve been punting soccer balls for a long time and it’s quite easy to change the direction of the shot based on where my feet start versus where my actual punt goes it’s not that deep man

  3. 17 weeks of football and all you got is a damn punt you’ll gonna need more than a punt coming to Philly

  4. Not even close. Steve O'Neill kicked a 98 yard punt in 1969 for the Jets against Denver. That is the record and can only be beaten by a 99 yarder.

  5. The most important thing that should be on everyone mind currently should be to invest in different sources of income that doesn't depend on the government. Especially with the current economic crisis around the word. This is still a good time to invest in various stocks, Bitcoin, or forex trading, Gold, silver and digital currencies

  6. Logan does this shit all of the time. He gets overlooked because use he’s on the Jags. He should have been named to the Pro Bowl numerous times as well being named an All-Pro.

  7. Yes, if the NFL only began last year. Just so you know, the NFL Hall of Fame has only one punter! REMEMBER THAT!

  8. Huh? The punter is on the right hash mark. Where should the receiver be? Like I'm new to this sport, but I think he should be on the right hash mark. What the Sam Heck, should the receiver be over on the left? Do you think that is the only punter who punts somewhere else, and his teammates know where he is punting – and the receiving team hasn't been coached for that? You will make a great coach for the Pop Warner leagues. Cockrocket? Ok, you get props for that.

  9. Well as you can see LA rams, there's a war going with the fans with the LA Chargers. So I believe.
They're going to save the Oakland Coliseum to bring.
The chargers. Home🎉😮❤🏆👌🏈 Win the Super Bowl.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

  10. Punting is the least understood aspect of the game, with all the hidden yardage of field position. Punting is the best defensive weapon, right after pass rush. Somewhere along the line, coaches taught technique for everyone to have a deft touch on the ball, which seems to have happened after Johnny Hekker's success. Things have evolved.

  11. This was a 75 yard punt he kick the ball about his 15 yard line and look at it closely and its out at the one yard line. The best punt that i can remember

  12. This is all bullshit. Snap took him more left and he just flowed with it. Not some great mind game shit here

  13. So much over hype/reaction over something so simple, mundane and something any punter/kicker can do. Nothing hard or GREAT about it at all or the GREATEST punter. Clearly don't kick at all

  14. Nope. In 1969, I saw Steve O’Neal of the Jets kick a 98-yard punt. From the Jets one-yard line, he nailed it, with a wind assist, over the receiver’s head and the ball rolled and was downed at the opponent’s one-yard line. It was the greatest and most perfect punt ever.
