I take on this incredible course… where only one pro golfer has ever broken par before! To see what the breathtaking Old Course has to offer… I teed it all the way back to see what a scratch golfer can shoot from those same tees.

A huge thanks to Les Bordes for letting us poke around for a couple of days and to capture this incredible club for the first time on camera. For more info on Les Bordes, make sure to check them out here: https://www.lesbordesgolfclub.com/

  1. Very impressive performance on a difficult course in tough conditions. That course looked beautiful!

  2. An excellent round Pete, I can't imagine too many playing it better. Thanks for the, no hype channel.

  3. This is why a love watching yours and ricks course content because am fed up watching @jamesrobisongolf playing a Texas scramble and picking up and dropping balls where ever he likes 😂 this is proper golf and played the correct way ❤

  4. Can you really attribute pace to a putter and not the person using the putter? I feel like pace is completely on the user. However, I'm no pro, so this is just my very basic understanding.

  5. Driver – A
    Accuracy – B
    Irons – A-
    Short game – B
    Putting – B
    Course management – B
    B golfer!

  6. Tried the cruiser it was fine, but I just line up the DF3 so well. It is absolutely heavier than the DF3, I wonder if that is what Pete's problem is with the speed control?

  7. Love the way this video was edited. Make it very easy to follow the ball. Also, appreciate how you explain every shot and why you do it. Great video! Made me subscribe.

  8. Saw Peter on Rick Shiels a while ago but for some reason I am only now enjoying the channel. The lapse in the middle of the round seems to me that you don't see yourself as worthy enough to break par and be in the same company as the professionals. Like some of the later shots, it seems to be your conscience sabotaging your game to prove your point. Jean van could have had perfect conditions on the day he broke par, but you belittle your own talents before thinking of other reasons why you didn't equal his record. He may have had several practice rounds compared to your first time around. You've got the talent but need to conquer your mind. P.S now prefer your channel to Mr. Shiels.

  9. Graphics are great other than being off with what club you're hitting at times. On par 3 on the back 9 you were playing a 5 iron, but the graphic said 3 wood.

  10. Mate I think that's one of the best rounds I've ever seen you play. You hit it so good. I would give my left nut to hit the ball that well consistently but I only play every 2-3 weeks. So I go between a 3 handicap and an 18 handicap depending on the day.

  11. I’m back to your channel because of the $100,000 skins game with Bryan Bros. Hope you do more colabs. Your content is very good!

  12. 12:33 you’re into too many instructions territory. Balls in flight can only understand 1 or occasionally 2 instructions while airborne. You need to instinctually limit yourself to 1 maybe 2 instructions to avoid confusing the in flight golf ball 😮😂
