Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic are finally set to meet in an epic clash at UFC 309, scheduled for Nov. 16 at New York’s Madison Square Garden. This long-anticipated showdown between two UFC legends was initially planned for UFC 295 in November 2023 but was delayed due to an injury Jones sustained during training. UFC 309 could mark the last fight for both, as they aim to leave a lasting legacy in the sport. #JonJones #StipeMiocic #GordonRyan
Jones, the current heavyweight champion, claimed the title in March 2023 with a submission victory over Ciryl Gane. Miocic, known for holding the record for most UFC heavyweight title defenses, has been out of action since his 2021 loss to Francis Ngannou. UFC CEO Dana White has emphasized the significance of this fight, calling it a “legacy fight” for both Jones and Miocic.
The co-main event will feature a five-round lightweight rematch between Charles Oliveira and Michael Chandler. Their first encounter at UFC 262 in 2021 saw Oliveira capture the vacant lightweight title with a second-round TKO. Chandler, who has been inactive for nearly two years while waiting for a potential fight with Conor McGregor, now returns to face Oliveira once again.
Additionally, rising middleweight star Bo Nickal will face Paul Craig. Nickal has been making waves since his 2022 debut on Dana White’s Contender Series, while Craig, who has struggled recently, will look to make a comeback.

I agree with Paul strongly
Jon jones
If jones is training with Gordon, stipe has NO chance on the ground period. Jones is way too strong with all the power lifting he’s been doing plus his juijustsu and wrestling is top notch. The only chance stipe has is to knock out jones which seems very unlikely but who knows, it’s the heavy weight division, anything can happen.
Bruh stipe looks like he’s 55 years old. The UFC is a joke
Ce serait bien que stipe crée l événement en battant Jones au 1 er ou au deuxième round tout le monde veut tellement la victoire de Jones que celle de stipe serait mérité
STIPE LOOKS SO FUCKING OLD FFS
Stipe for the huge upset
Bones gonna be handing stipe his retirement, another legend trying to hang on to the glory days plus bones tightening up his ground game with the greatest no gi jujitsu artist on the planet is gonna be a game changer 🙌
Everyone says the same thing then Jones does wat he wants too do 😂😂😂😂 but I guess.
Battle Royale
It’s MMA – you gotta be great everywhere at that level. Jones isn’t a one punch knockout artist typically and stipe has more power in his hands and is crafty so logically jones would fancy his chances more in the grappling and on the ground but he still has to be solid on the feet and Stipe has good wrestling too.
