  1. Have plantar fasciitis foot pain? Here’s some tips that may help!

Shout out @utility_massage for the opening stitched video!

  2. This is normally only part of a problem for only some of the people. Don’t try to sell the 1st MTP as the root cause of everyone’s PF

  3. After hiking the 2653 mile pacific crest trail I had really bad plantar fasciitis. After three treatments of this deep & painful massage w/ my local sports chiropractor she had nearly completely fixed it. (Some exercise modification & new shoes fixed the rest) Only took 6 weeks!

  4. I walked barefoot on gravel, slipped, and felt a pop in my mid foot and it strangely fixed mine that was caused by those once trendy rocking shoes. 😅

  5. I had this in both feet due to bad work shoes that were supposed to be "correctly formed" for the foot and due to other issues with chronic illnesses and inflammation in practically my entire body. I found that taping the soles of my feet with rigid tape, buying work boots with 0 drop and a wider toe box and switching to barefoot shoes and using heel cushions and sleeping with ice packs tied to my feet were what helped me. No amount of rolling or massaging made it better, it only made things worse as it created more inflammation.

  6. I had it and my chiropractor recommended me to use toe spacer. I'm amazed at how much my foot pain is gone. I can walk without shoes and without pain. I've been doing it for almost 2 months and I'm so happy. I totally recommend it.

  7. I had that done and it worked but massage therapist stated had to break up calcification there. It hurt but was better after and haven’t dealt with it again in years

  8. Ya you can just also do a stretch opposite of the stretch sitting on the pillow! This one helped me and I now don't have that problem

  9. I need a wide toe box work shoe though. Like something with a steel toe, and preferably something that breathes

  10. working out barefoot and crocs (I know) when I incline walk solved it for me. Effective and cheap (for the croc) I bought a ton of "barefoot" shoes and they didn't help. I just workout barefoot and it solved it.

  11. Wide toe boxes are the best thing you can do for your feet. After switching from typical runners to minimalist shoes (zero drop, wide toe box) years ago, never again have I had back, knee or foot pain from simply just being on my feet all day. Its amazing how much of a difference they made.
