  1. Love this guy…it's so good to see someone so chuffed with his lot when he could have been one of the all time greats but equally was only an injury away from being a nobody
    👌

  2. Danny is one of the nicest pro golfers. I met him once at Lindrick GC and he’s is such a gentleman.

  3. Top interview. Love listening Danny talk golf. Love watching him play. Also played with Nicholas years ago in Holland. Later that year I quir professional golf knowing I could never be that good. Great bloke as well.

  4. To see Danny willet become a legendary Yorkshireman and
join the ranks of masters green jacket winners, ..only a
Yorkshireman would display such genuine down to earth
realism ..that is some awesome achievement …😊👍

  5. It's crazy to think the 2016 Ryder Cup at Hazeltine was only eight years ago; Golf's landscape has changed so much since, and European golf's in particular. Westwood and Kaymer were still household names ; Wood, Sullivan and Pieters have fallen off the face of the earth; Rahm and Hovland weren't a thing yet, etc… It's true that this team had too many rookies in it to seriously hope to contend on US soil, but somehow it feels like the last true "Made in European Tour" team we've had. Danny Willett, Chris Wood, Andy Sullivan, Rafa Cabrera-Bello, those were true European Tour journeymen, much like Paul McGinley, Jamie Donaldson, Philip Price, Philip Walton or Nico Colsaerts before them. Nowadays the majority of Team Europe players and contenders are very much US college system/PGA Tour products themselves. I don't think Alan Shipnuck was that far off when he predicted US dominance after that 2016 victory. Obviously he has been mathematically wrong, but American golf in general feels so much stronger than it did eight years ago, and it made me nostalgic to think back on those years while listening to this part of Danny's (great, btw) interview.

  6. He is a good golfer but come on , he was so lucky to win because the other was choking like beyond believe…
