TEST RESULTS! LEGATO LTX 3085 GOLF BALL REVIEW…

In today’s video we’re testing and reviewing the new LEGATO ltx 3085 Golf Balls off Amazon!

Legato claim these golf balls to be Tour Performing for only £29.99 a dozen, so we’re going to put them head to head with the number one used golf ball on tour, the Titleist Pro V1 Golf Ball and the SRIXON AD333, a similar priced golf ball.

  1. Not sure you can judge the backspin on the first shot as the legato spun and then hit the downslope which took it off the green – you can't compare that to the Pro V that landed on the flat of the green and still spun.

  2. Great video Gary, you bring some great lesser known brands to our attention (Caiton), thank you.
The Callaway Super soft balls are £24.99 on Amazon, the Lagato LTX 3085 are also currently Amazon at £29.99, I'd love to see a comparison between the two.
Keep up the great content Gary 👌🏼

  3. By "soft" what do you mean Gary? Compression or the feel off the cover? They are two very different things. Compression for the AD333 is 70, the ProV1 is 87. The PV1 may feel softer I guess due to the urethane cover. I imagine the legato is similar compression to the PV1, if not a little firmer.

  4. Take a look at Penfold Ace, yes they have been resurrected, reminded me of working in the pro shop as a junior, player would come in and buy one, unwrap it and play. The new Penfold ace is on introductory offer under £25 per dozen, 4 piece urethane ball, pro v equivalent. They also do a distance Penfold heart, at around £20 per dozen. Took 2 dozen to my club and had the lads in our thrash try them, all feedback was positive, might be because the balls were free😂😂 also the Callaway Hex soft are £35 2 dozen on Amazon, and a good everyday ball for the money. However the new Penfold Ace, is fantastic

  5. "tour" balls around here are $85 CAD a dozen tax in, sod that when I can get them off a recovered ball website for 1/3 the cost on average and they suit my game just fine

  6. Found one on my course a few weeks ago, never heard of them, so i chucked in in my practice bag, a couple of days later had a practice session and was seriously impressed by the feel, how quickly it stopped, and got some backspin on a couple of lob shots. Bought a box, got to say seriously impressed, distance, feel, definitely buy them again.

  7. Never heard about these golf balls, your data suggests they perform well against the other brands, looks like you guys are playing at your former work place, you should update us on if you are still working at either golf course or is it you tube full time

  8. I switched to these balls earlier this year. If you do the Amazon subscription the price is even cheaper. I’ve found no negative or lacking compared to more expensive balls. And if one finds the golf ball graveyard it’s not as hard a pill to swallow. Great review!

  9. Thanks for your reply and I am sure all your friends and subscribers will be behind you 100% and you realize your dream

  10. That was a very positive golf ball review and they really have caught my attention especially at the price, seriously considering ordering some

  11. Gaz, this isn’t a criticism because I love your content. That ball didn’t spin like made on the first green it hit an upslope on a wet green and came up short. Pro v was clearly the best performance on that shot, followed by the Ad 333

  12. I think Taylor made soft response, 3piece ball, £19.99 in the uk are fantastic for the price Gary. What do think? I’d be intested how they stand up to a more expensive 3piece ball

  13. Recently switched to Legato. I used to use Pro V1, but had a lot of slices on my tee shots, but with Legato, I had a strange experience of catching slices and increasing my distance. Also, my short game had better spin, which increased chances to hit the ball onto the green. Above all, the large alignment line helps me align when putting! In summary, it gives me the best experience on tee shots, short game, and putting. Best value for the money!

  14. Here in OZ this ball is AU$56.50, $1 cheeper than the Wilson Staff Model(my current ball of choice) so I see no reason to gamble on an unknown entity.

  15. Gary I really want to see your channel grow. I would like to see you do some more of the Temu golf club videos but play 9 or 18 holes with them. Especially some of their drivers and forged irons and not the copies of P&&)'s or P790's. And I would like to see some more of your travel videos.

  16. Been using these for the past 3 months got them for £22 for a dozen and I can't tell the difference between this and the prov1 first seen on let's play through.

  17. Great ball, Gary. I have been using them for a couple of months now after seeing Gabe's reviews. You can get them even cheaper when Amazon has a sale. I picked them up for $24.99 on cyber Monday. I assume they will be on sale Black Friday as well.

  18. Sounds and looks like a decent ball Gaz.
I like the softer feel/sound off the putter face (remembering I used to play the Maxfli HT Balata…when it was made in Normanton, cheap, read free, golf balls😉)
As an aside, what a beautiful building Thrybergh Hall is 👍👍👍
