    Full 18 hole competition is a boring format for the Olympics – what is needed is a variety of elimination trials over 3 or 6 holes, closest to the pin on 3 par threes, and maybe other inventive formats – full 18 holes strokeplay is just so dull and ordinary, same old every weekend stuff. Surely for the olympics we can have some creative thinking to draw the elite players out of their monotonous comfort zones ???

    Me and my wife we tried to figure out, why this "sport" is so popular…
    We have absolutely no idea! It's unbelievable boring. Can't understand those people, which are sitting in the rank and do this to semselfes.
    Anyhow, others might think the same about mountain biking.
