This was a bit of a tough watch… I get what you're saying about the course, but honestly, it seemed like you guys weren't vibing with it before you got started playing. Brooks seemed a bit frustrated before your first shot even. & Elisha was already zoned out & in tune with the aminals! lol Still watched it all, and like I said, I get it about courses like this, some just aren't fun, and not just because they're difficult.
Elisha, your love of animals mirrors mine. I so enjoy listening to the bullfrogs in our creek. And yes, I try to take photos of bunnies, etc., that we see at the courses we play … or just on our walks! Brooks, your frustration was tempered by your natural good nature. I barely noticed it without your calling attention to it. It's a delight to watch the relationship between you and Elisha, as well as that with your parents. I especially enjoy videos with them. Blessings! 🥰
This course was one of the strangest courses I seen in your videos. It was a fun course to watch but wow. That’s all I got to say lol

I would probably spend more time looking for frogs, squirrels, etc myself. Like any group behind me could just go ahead while I sit and watch wildlife.
What's wrong with the original design? Too hard for you? Surely not losing a ball. That happens on other courses.

Not all courses are great, but you kids sure make it fun.

As frustrating as the design was, they did plan for wheelchairs, which is more than a lot of courses do. Did you ever find out how old the course was?

We lived 45 min from there when we lived in NJ, but did not play that course.

The openings while maybe to let chairs and such through ( though i personally don't believe that since not every hole had them) seem to be more just extra obstacle. Like you're not supposed to just slam your ball down the coarse towards the hole, its mini golf, you're supposed to be taking calculated shots and picking how hard you hit the ball and such so it doesn't go off the backs or sides. Same as other holes at other places I've seen you play with open backs. A hole with just all walls that let you slam the ball and bounce it into the hole just seems boring.
One thing about a bad course… no matter what you have to deal with, your opponent has to deal with it too, so there's always that.

I think maybe the course was designed and built prior to ADA laws. Once those laws came into effect they had to carve into existing walls and in some places the only place to go was right in line with the shot.
The joys of playing an older course, over time Mother Nature can make any course harder to play.
You guys clearly couldn't wait to get out of there. Not even an outro. Hoping some of the other NJ courses weren't as bad.
