Great video, enjoy the no gi judo a lot !!
What was said in the last podcast, man, if we put a serious effort developing no-Gi Judo it's gonna be the next big thing in grappling. I want to see Judo high up there with wrestling and BJJ in the MMA and submission fighting scenes.
PERSONALLY. I just wouldnt let him do that. But thats just me 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
judo guys with their no gi grips lmfao… please show the man a proper gable grip, his thumb positioning is wrong on the 3/4 nelson at the start
Hey started off with judo and i transition to competeing in bjj. My main tds are haria gosh and the other hip tosses from the overhook. Whenever i train/compete against a high level wrestlers i get blitzed by an outside single leg. My question is how do i defend agianst the single leg in the whizzer/overhook postion? Its probably a situation where im so comfortable from the overhook bcs of my long arms that im not applying enough pressure in these situations. If anybody has any tips for being better in this position i would greatly appreciate it.
MORE !!!!!!!
Underarm throw technique bjj
More overhook content please!!!!!! This was gold!
Thank GOD some more no gi judo, im having such a hard time with my grips in no gi
I thought shintaro was a red-white belt
Austin is a killer
Pretty good! My favorite option in nogi BJJ from the whizzer is the ashi guruma… yeah, kinda unorthodox, but is very effective! I throwed even some upper belts with this
The silly generic music is really unnecessary
Awesome! Can he PLEASE also show something off the underhook?
🤙
I clicked on this video cus I thought Stephen Wonderboy was on here 😂😂😂
please have him show foot sweeps. Love watching his instagram videos.
Austin is a monster but he’s kinda strange dude
Judo champions are all so humble and eternal students of the game. It's always inspiring to watch them!
This is such a great video guys thank you. Very concise but informative
Austins poor hands 🙁
Fights no one wins except the cops and jail time
The best move push off the elbow
A wrestler especially a college wrestler will win in a fight almost 100 percent of the time and most of the mma fights are now won by wrestlers so a few judo moves will not beat a college wrestler you best bet is bear, spray on run like the wimp you are
My observation.
He says “fake like you are trying to scare somebody into the lockers.”
To which Shintaro chuckles.
Shintaro was totally a bully in school 😂
Love it!
Saw the thumbnail without my glasses and thought "MatPat???"
The overhook uchi mata is the new single leg…..
Change My Mind
Jigoro Kano would have been proud of seeing this judo
