  1. we dont need more batters or fielders we need to rethink the pitching staff and bullpen and to find a closer or SS

  2. Our team are fine ..if we keep this team the way it is..we will have multiple rings..no need soto..we could always get more pitching..we just need more good role player and pitching for back up

  3. There is likely a 90% chance Soto ends up with the Dodgers if Soto wants to be a Dodger and is just looking for the best contract.

  4. Remember, the players association always wants the players to get everything they’re worth…

Everything trickles down and every comparable contract is used in negotiations… If players are taking discounts it may help the team but it’s screwing other players in the long run… If a handful of pitchers worth 260 mil take between 200-215 mil over the same years, the pitcher worth 210 mil will see his contract get smaller since he’s not worth what the other guys are getting (rinse and repeat until you get to guys making under 10)

There’s nothing scummy or greedy in getting your worth from an organization that can and will give you your worth

Also, Soto will stay in the Bronx… Players like Soto don’t just come to the Yankees and walk… Whatever any team offers, the Yankees will match it

  5. I remember I was at dodgers stadium for a dodgers vs nationals game a few years back in the right field pavilion, the crowd around me was chanting "what's the matter with Soto, HES A BUM" and it was the funniest thing ever. I think it's now funny with the title of the video.

  6. Please, have someone tell the Dodgers' owners not to sign Soto. He may be a good player,
but his arrogance is way above his playing abilities. He is going to mess up the team's chemistry. They are better off keeping Teoscar Hernandez, Flaherty and whoever else and keep the change.

  7. Just stop, that would break baseball and kill genuine interest in the sport across the country just for the mere fact that the east coast vs west coast time slots. I could also see more cap restrictions applied including deferred rules.

  8. I highly doubt that, the Dodgers don’t need Soto. Better to resign players that won us the World Series than searching for others. Makes no sense. If anything the bullpen needs improvement.

  9. As great of a batter he is he’s equally shit at defense. Dodgers don’t need that and I really hope this is just speculation

  10. We don’t need him he can’t run for shit therefore won’t be able to make real good plays outfield. We don’t need him in LA ✌🏽

  11. Dodgers do not need a personality like Soto. He doesn’t fit the team. The dude chases money not titles. His defense sucks and eventually his offense will decline with better pitching schemes. Dodgers need to find a shortstop and additional pitching. Boras is money douche.

  12. I’m more interested in extending Flaherty, Kopech, Edman and Teoscar. Perhaps Buehler and of course signing Sasaki.
