  1. Watching this the other day as they were going on about every kid dreams about this at one point bases loaded yanks dodgers tenth inning. Waltz up to the plate and crushes a dinger first pitch walk off granny with the bat nod.. chills 😂

  2. I wish I was there to experience it but man does that hit from Freddie hit just as hard as it did live. Way to make World Series and MLB History Dodgers!!

  3. Joe Davis not only acknowledges Vinny with "SHE IS GONE!" He also asks Smoltz "Would you say you don't believe what you just saw"?

  4. What a fantastic call from Joe. Short but sweet and let the video and crowd noise tell the rest of the story. An old-school Scully-like call. Legendary stuff. Truly electric

  5. Would be nice if players could get back to old school and not show up the pitchers. It’s ok to do a bit of “self celebrating,” such as a few hand claps, a maybe point to sky to thank God, but the pitch was down the middle, he should hammer it. Kerry Wood homer in 2003 NLCS is how a batter should react after big time home run. Head down, no chest bumps, no flexing, touch em all, get to home plate and gently high five those waiting for you, then back to dugout. We all realize that baseball has some issues right now in terms of being slower sport, situational/showdown sport, attendance, etc, but can we please go back to old school here and not show up the pitchers? I get it that it’s a balancing act in terms of showing emotion, energizing the crowd/team, but just hit the damn ball and show respect to the game and don’t disrespect the pitchers. The pitch was a mistake, pitcher and batter knew it, batter took advantage like a pro should, leave it at that. Yes, it’s WS GS walk off, but bit more respect for the game and pitcher.

  6. Can anyone tell me the name of the track that is playing in the background when he is running the bases???

  7. I still cannot believe this happened in my lifetime and that I was fully tuned in at the edge of my seat. Los Angeles ERUPTED into celebration. Core memory made. Just jaw dropping.
