Trevino, 84, spoke to media members before this week’s inaugural PGA Tour Champions Simmons Bank Championship at the Pleasant Valley Country Club in Little Rock.
The 29-time PGA Tour winner will play nine holes with a pro-am group on Oct. 23, 2024 before taking part in a ribbon-cutting ceremony of the renovated PVCC clubhouse as part of the championship’s week of activities leading up to tournament play from Oct. 25 to Oct. 27.
