  1. I am very impressed with your professionalism and talent. Thank you for your creativity and dedication!đŸŠđŸ€™đŸŒ

  2. We need to grow sports such as Cricket and Golf whilst retaining the courtesy and etiquette. I'm not a fan of 'thugish behaviour' at all.

  3. I’m okay with more people golfing. I don’t want courses over crowded. Some courses near me book 6 min tee times. It can turn rounds into 6 hours long. 18 holes shouldn’t take more than 4 hours. Realistically it shouldn’t take more than 3

  4. If everyone follows the rules and etiquette, maybe 20/1000 golfers would care about new people on their courses.

But when you see new players disrespecting pace of play, not fixing pitch marks and divots, beyond loud music as you’re teeing off, never letting folks play through if they’re playing slowly, you start to understand why folks enjoy the exclusivity.

For example, I played Sawgrass and literally on 17, the entire line was backed up from ppl taking pics. I imagine if I were a member, that would be frustrating.

  5. Had it at my local course while teaching a mate about how he was teeing up wrong had a group of old blokes 45-50 shout over saying we’re taking the piss and to hurry up. It was his first round on a proper 18 holes. Needless to say we didn’t let them play through and didn’t hurry up. Infact I made sure to “teach” every shot

  6. I have the this problem at my local course if your under 35 they think your the devil make you feel soo in welcome I’m now travelling 25 miles to better course were they are so welcoming

  7. Dress codes, rules the lexicon are not the barrier he thinks it is. There's special attire and language for cycling, tennis, soccer, volleyball, etc. Pick a sport. This is its culture. Do you like it?

  8. You’re both right. I love Golf and I would love to see the sport grow
But I really want them to cut the membership at my club because the only thing that ruins up golf for me is other people holding me up or pushing me from behind. That’s just how it is. I think most everyone agrees that a crowded golf course is less fun.

  9. What’s crazy is you need a license in Germany, like passing your driving test, excuse the pun. But playing golf isn’t easy, I practised for over half a year before I set foot on a course.

  10. More golfers is not good for the sport. It slows down play and courses think they can charge outrageous green fees because so many people want to play. If you can’t break 100
spend your time on the range until you become a decent ball striker. Take lessons on everything. Then start playing 9 holes later in the day. Don’t be a selfish ass and hold up an entire golf course because “you paid to play just like everyone else”.

  11. I’m all for people taking up golf but harder courses need to enforce a max handicap so it keeps beginners on easier courses to start with

  12. The problem with people who play golf to a good standard is that they forget they weren't always scratch or 5hcp. They forget they were once a beginner. Whether you're 25hcp or scratch, if you pay your membership, you're welcome.

    Even that term "actual golfers"

Sorry Rick, but unless you are playing on a tour, you are not a "golfer." You're a, 'whatever you do for a job person' who likes to play golf.

Notice how hammond said he likes to ride bikes, he didn't call himself a biker.

What Rick means is most golf clubs love all the money but want all the shit players to pay their fee and fuck off.

  13. Need to end the stigma about forward tees. I watch absokute đŸ€Ą's tee it up from the back and take 2/3 shots to even get on the fairway. Ability based tees is absolutely the way forward. I play the front tees with my 10 year old daughter, we dont hold anyone up and have an absolute blast.
