Aaron 's day has come and gone and he's left a bad taste in everyone's mouth.
His has a great arm and appears to be terrible teammate/employee, never have I ever heard a great player blame so many teammates.

Aaron's actually right that the players shouldn't listen to the media. (A lot of young jets are online too much). But Young is right that you shouldn't say that TO the media. Say it to the players in private. Maybe make it a rule! No social media 'till the off-season. But saying it in a press conference is wrong. (And I love Aaron.)

The media, including its gaggle of ex players who’ve sold out to stay relevant, are the dysfunctional part of the 3 rings. The other 2 are necessary (fans and players). The third only serves itself and tries/does everything it can to embed itself. I’d like to watch a football game without having to listen to a pre-game panel of 5-6 has been players opining on what a team or players should do, followed by a halftime dribble, and concluding with a post game analysis to opine on what should or shouldn’t have been done by player/team. Of course, I’d have to mention the endless pharmaceutical commercials throughout the broadcast that help fund their salaries. The worst of the media bunch are those that never stepped foot on the field and analyze/critique these players. Sorry Dan, I like you, but the media has over saturated the sports landscape
Here’s a concept…next week when he stinks it up again, just report your story of the game, hit your deadline and go home.

As a lifelong Packer fan, I was so happy when A Rod left, and that feeling has not changed a bit since he left.
I agree with Roger’s, as far as game broadcasts are concerned, the media thinks it the NFL, it thinks people tune in to listen to them. I tune in to watch the game not to listen to the media who fill the game with tons of predictions, analysis, criticisms, stories, stats and countless unnecessary replays that ruin the actual game and so much more. Blah blah blah. It used to be a lot quieter. Today’s coverage is far too analytical. I just hit the mute button. Paying Brady 350 million to be a color guy shows that the networks can and are controlling things. The NFL is about the action on the field not off the field.

To all the critics that say Rodgers should have had this or that it boils down to money. When you have one player that takes the majority of your cap and will make no concessions. You are then handicapped with who you can acquire. First you have to pay for an offensive line to protect him. Then a defense that can stop the opponent from scoring 40+ every game. Then a running game to give the offensive lineman a chance in the game. Rodgers who can thread a needle with a football at 50 yards (or at least he could a few years ago) doesn't require a receiver who has 5 yards of separation power. Would it have been nice to have 2 number 1's for receivers, yes necessary no. Rodgers lack of playing at more Superbowls was a result of an increasingly poor defense and his own poor performance in critical games.
Rodgers was done 5 years ago. Not surprising he's failing.

As a Packer fan that wanted Rodgers gone 5 years ago because it was clear we couldn’t win another Super Bowl with Rodgers baggage – his absurd salary demands, his rigid, narcissistic myopia, his ridiculous conspiracy theories, his age – I’m going to defend him here. The media asks just plain stupid questions about 75% of the time. Over and over and over. Rodgers is burned out and will retire after this season. He no longer needs to put up with the BS questions and comments.

Steve is right; I understand that trying to stop something becomes harder if you keep telling yourself you have to, rather than just living in the moment however the media should also move on and not take offense.
