  1. Got to bear in mind with Falkirk BR had 8 changes post CL win, this week it’s full strength Celtic that will come out swinging

  2. I was and continue to be very concerned about how we use Engles, who I'm sure played in McGregor's position before he came to us.
Bernardo seems to be that type of player as well 🤷‍♂️.
Creativity isn't their strong point, it shows and it's a concern.

  3. Great discussion again. It's good for Scottish football that Aberdeen are on the up again. I think they really have the chance to be at least second this year, particularly as they don't have the demands of European football that we and the Rangers have. A key date is the 30th October when Rangers have to travel to Aberdeen. Meanwhile let's hope for a win on Saturday. HH

  4. Absolutely inspirational poem from Alan. Love it.
These poems are quickly becoming the main reason I tune into the Huddle Breakdown. 😂

  5. Really enjoying the breadth and detail afforded by this second weekly podcast. I always thought this cerebral corner of Celtic internet discourse needed more airtime.

The only thing that undermines the immense erudition and eloquence – further enhanced by the riveting poetry – is the background nuisance of barking dogs. Makes it difficult to enjoy the great discussion when this is going on.

Otherwise, really enjoying the output and thank you.

  6. I was looking forward to more elucidation on Zipf's Law from James, and just a general lecture on quantitative linguistics…

    I see a third podcast brewing…

  7. Always love the Huddle Breakdown shows 👍 Listening from central China and it’s a highlight for me during the week. Thanks to everyone involved.
    HH Tom.

  8. Nothing against you guys you all no your stats but, what hasent been mentioned thus far is the dons haven’t this season faced a press like celtics so in my opinion we will win with goals to spare it’s my opinion I any see anyway we lose this game. Hh. Joe little. Ireland 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🙏🙏🙏💰💰💰🏆🏆👍😎

  9. You won’t have to wait long for a sev co defeat the play Aberdeen next week hh joe. Little Ireland 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🙏🙏🙏💰💰💰🏆🏆👍😎

  10. The problem with Celtic is sides don’t generally press our defence in Scotland with the exception of a ten minute spell in the Glasgow derby this season. We struggled in that spell and that’s magnified in CL games. I’m no expert or data analyst but possibly we need to strengthen the defence and central midfield to improve that area?

  11. Its great to hear that Scales' perceived improvement bears outs in the stats. I was someone who wanted him replaced in the summer but he really hasn't put a foot wrong and it doesn't seem to be a purple patch now. This is how good he is.
