On this week’s episode of the Peter Crouch Podcast, Pete, Sids, and Chris get real about one of the biggest turning points in a football manager’s career… when they lose the dressing room.

The lads, who’ve been there before, share firsthand examples of managers letting it slip, as well as the ripple effect this has on team morale, communication, and performance. Senior players hold incredible sway, and their support (or lack of it) can make or break a manager’s fate.

We also delve into Aston Villa’s OUTRAGEOUS fines, sharing notes on the pitch, and send a call out to all of the managers out there – have you lost the office? Let us know in the comments and we can help you get it back!

Finally to top it all off, do we FINALLY have a paella for one?! Surely not…

  2. Great pod lads. Talking about notes being passed on . Just a little one on from this. Have you ever noticed when a sub is coming on why does it always look like he is laughing and joking with the linner. Just wondered 😂

  3. A donkey should be a player who carries the team, for example you could say Cole palmer is a donkey of a player 😂

  4. Disk golf has been around 30 years plus, or should I say, the first time I saw it played was over 30 years ago.

  5. I've got James Martin the chef on in the background and he just said he had donkey called Bimbo. A lot to do to change the perception of a donkey 😅

  6. Definitely seen managers "lose the office" over the years, when it gets to a point where no one wants to work for that person but are still loyal to their colleagues. Wish we knew of the term "lost the dressing room" at the time that would have been a funny way of bitching about it down the pub at the time. 😆

  7. Never lose a dressing room when it's going well? Lukaku has something to say about that 😂
