Games from the 2020 Jones Invitational Croquet Tournament, put on by the Sarasota County Croquet Club in Venice, Florida, Jan 31-Feb 3. Dedicated to the memory of Fred Jones, everybody’s mentor in American croquet, who passed away in November, 2019. This 1st flight game between Ron Eccles and Rita McNamara features nice break play and interesting leaves; but it has elements for higher hcp players in the realm of basic tactics, dbl banking protocol and shot making.
