  1. But College Basketballers could?? Guys stop it, they’ve been too many basketballers who didn’t make it to the NBA that became Hall of Fame players in the NFL. Facts!!!

  2. Chad knows better huh, i mean he was in that nfl basketball tournament…. Yall remember that? Tony Gonzalez was in there, Terrell Owens was in there. They was hooping 😂😂

  3. Shannon said aint not juking in the NFL 😂😂, ever hear of Barry Sanders, Ladanian Tomlinson, Reggie Bush, Lesean McCoy ? ??? 😬😬

  4. I think what the basketball guys don't seem to realize is the different steps up in football and change in speed of the game he keeps saying these basketball players played football in high school there is a huge difference between high School football and college football and there is just as big of a difference between college football and pro football I mean these basketball players don't seem to realize how hard a middle linebacker will hit you or even a strong safety

  5. I’m surprised they forgot Bron played football and was the number one prospect in Ohio as a wideout while he was in high school 🫠

In an article they likened him to “…a taller, slower version of Randy Moss.” There’s also the time the Cowboys and Seahawks offered him a one year deal to play back in 2011. If he was a bit younger or in his prime he’d definitely be amazing 💯

  6. I’m 6’6 330 and I have a 34 inch vertical 7’2 wingspan. I’m 24 I haven’t played football in 6 years in pads. Could I make an nfl team as an offensive lineman?

  7. Shannon just said football players r better athletes wtf not even close. NBA players r bye far the best athletes

  8. I played high school football. Man, those hits HURT. In high school! And we’re talking the NFL?! 99% of people would be killed in the NFL, including most NBA players. Apples and oranges. Unc is right. Even the muscle building is different between sports. Players between sports are just built differently.

  9. There’s a talent and a grid to football that the world and especially hoopers will never understand. When Mr.Arenas was listing all those positions that a NBA player could play.

I one hundred percent understand why the NFL players were disagreeing. Football takes a certain kind of person. I’m glad my pappy never let me play. Respect to anyone who can and does ✊🏾

  10. ALL WRONG. CHARLES OAKLEY, DENNIS RODMAN, BEN WALLACE…… 50 NFL GUYS CAN PLAY THOSE ROLES. YOU DON'T HAVE TO HAVE HANDLES OR SCORE TO CONTRINUTE TO THE TEAM.

  11. Allen Iverson would have played football in college and probably drafted to the NFL had he didn’t go to jail in high school.

    He was another Mike Vick

  12. Moss, Ai, Deion, Ward, Gates, Peppers, LeBron played both sports in school. Hell put Sprewell in some pads just to see what happens for fun.

  13. Just cant happen.. i agree with shannon.. cant now, lets alone the rules back in the 90s LOL

  14. Completely different games and skill sets lol…..some % of NBA players could be trained for a few years and play in the NFL

  15. Basketball is easy anyone can do it. Only reason the nba players are better is because of height. If there were height divisions(similar to weight divisions) I can guarantee the smaller ballers would be so much more fun to watch. They faster more athletic more skill moves can shoot better. Game would be more exciting to watch

  16. NBA players most awkward unskilled “athletes” there is in the sporting world. Sooooo many people on earth can do anything in basketball better then the current nba players other then block and dunk, Because they are not tall lol. NBA players are tall not good athletes

  17. Football players, play basketball for fun on there time off. NBA players wouldn’t play football unless it tag and and not tackle

  18. Football is such a personal mental game… You're literally alone, but on a team… You have to have your head on a swivel all the time. And, any play can end your career, or change your life.

  19. Any athlete could run a route on a football field but are they holding onto that ball after they've caught it. Like any NFL player can catch a ball and rebound but can they shoot. All this oh 6 months training etc. Look at zammit for the chiefs incredible rugby player very good athlete and he didn't even make the practice squad for the chiefs and jags are using him for PR rugby and football are similar sports in the sense of contact!

  20. You can practice basketball solo in an indoor or outdoor court any time.

You can't practice football anywhere. You can't practice tackling solo. I've never seen a basketball game in snow, rain, sleet. I've never seen basketball players play with restricted vision, 30lbs weight, and gravity falls plus hits.

  21. Should be some mention of Odell here, feel like he could've gone pro in ANY of football, basketball, baseball, or soccer.

  22. Anyone can run a route. But can you run a route with a DB a yard away from you jamming you at the line? Probably not. Can you complete a pass accurately with the pocket collapsing around you, with 4 or 5 guys who legit want to tear your head off? I doubt it

  23. It’s such a good conversation but really difficult. That guy from NC state they’re talking about, yes he’s competitive etc as he’s got through college on a basketball scholarship, but is he gonna be competitive when a nfl dude about the same size and weight as him is trying to take his head off? Completely different sports but such an interesting debate
