Panthers just don't have the guys to continue competing, especially with the amount of defensive injuries. Despite all that, Dalton has been a breath of life into a dreadful offense. OL has improved from last year and I am a fan of the way Canales has coached. The record doesn't reflect it, but overall I have been pleased with the progress. It's going to take considerable time to fix the damage Tepper has done. Hopefully he stops meddling and lets them run the team as they see fit.

The Falcons could have two thousand yard rushers this year! Never been a fan of splitting the backfield but in this case it just works. Between Allgeier's hard nose running and Robison's cuts behind that O line it keeps defensive coaches up at night. Also the play calling on offense has been great so many wide open receivers exploiting that run threat. If the D can tighten up on run defense and pressure the qb more they will be playoff bound!

You can't say the Panthers are not giving 100% effort, they just are not good enough as a team. Dalton's first pick was made worse by the fact he had an open man on the 1 yard line for an easier TD than the pass he threw.
Falcons defense is looking good too this year.. better than in the past at least… need some work in the hole/middle though… a lot of opportunities were given to the panthers there.
