  1. It is my guess that after working with people for a short time you realize their potential, and that is part of why golf is so frustrating, as one knows they can play better, one has all the ingredients but does not know how to combine them. You supply a recipe to follow.
    Want a bit more spice add this, blander take away that. Not constriction but expansion of golf knowledge.
    As in you must play a certain way, be in the correct position, while what you teach is more a more player-based pattern, allowing leeway once the correct feel is established. Which involves the whole body, feet, ankles, knees, etc. Now hear the word of the Lord.
    Then it extends all throughout the bag and you realize that before you were just a hacker, but now you are a golfer.
    At least that is my interpretation.
