Great video lads – love watching good players learn.
I have been away from the game for 12 years. I just have started to play again. I used to carry about a 4 handicap when I played steady years ago.. The hardest shots to hit are these short game shots consistently. Getting tips from this guy or that guy for years playing in pro- ams and seems like everyone does this or that differently.. this instruction is by far the best short game instruction I have found.. Please keep these coming! Thanks for all the videos! I wish I lived just down the road from Dan so I could schedule time with him.. Paul from Pennsylvania…..
Love this. Dan is class. Can't wait to get down there one day for a lesson.
“You don’t need to change that” is coach-speak for “not sure I can fix that”
That was unbelievable! Wow, what a lesson!
Jimmy, a true entertainer and now an even better golfer. Would love to see you make it to the Open. ⛳️
To me using whatever grip you putt with around the green with a lofted club feels right, but you're always tempted to use it a bit too far out, or a bit too bad a lie or when you need a good amount of clubhead speed and release.
Then you can make a mess.
Great vid lads, bloody marvellous
Liam I want your watch! May not have been the best round but still great entertainment!
Wonderful, well done Dan and well done Jimmy. It is so hard to get that soft hands feel. I take my thumbs off when I feel I’m forcing shots. Thumbs on and tension always release 4 😂😂😂😂.
Played on Sunday and someone asked me, “if you could have a years lesson with one coach who would it be” I said Dan Grieve. He said who? 😂😂😂
Well done Dan love seeing how you teach.
Best video ever!
These latest episodes are brilliant. Not just the excellent lessons eg Dan Grieve (superb and understandable) but also the feedback that JB gives. You should do more with JB either as pupil or showing his routine with irons and woods. Love watching his process and the swing off the tee and on the fairway. Just a thought for future videos. Best of luck JB in your quest and to Ange. 🏌️
Dan is an amazing coach which, sadly, means he costs a King’s ransom if you want 1-2-1 lessons….he’s also booked about 18 months in advance 😳😳😳
What I'm really impressed with is how great a student Jimmy is. Brilliant
Like anything new developing or changing a habbit is creating new neuro pathways in the brain it wont come over night it will take time and effort but you will get there if ur persist.
Dan greave is a wizard
Let him work with tubes
Wow, this is pure mustard ! Great fixes explained easily to acheive the correct technique. I'm heading down my club practise ground right now to try them out. Awesome Dan & Jim !
OMG… another wannabe YouTuber with fantasies of "Road to the Open" coming for lessons from a guy who could actually (more than likely) make an Open run but realizes the actual truth, just because you play scratch golf… you have ZERO chance against Tour Pro's.
Looks like the slice path I’ve worked so hard to fix from my irons 😫 So it’s almost like a miniature cut shot??
This video explained and helped alot , thanks !
Jimmy is class
As an American I had to rewind when Jimmy started talking real fast lol
Great video
Fun to watch as much to learning ..making short game addiction! Get well soon Jimmy
I am always impressed when Dan guides the swing movement of his students. What an impressive pleasure to watch a master of his profession at work. Well played Jimmy Bullard.
brilliant – love Jimmy's positive reaction!
Pure genius, amazing instruction.
Really really love this. Had the issues with chipping like bad (inconsistent) contact and worse control on low point…… Was already putting for 4-5 years with claw or saw grip and switched this year also to this with chipping. Softer higher shots I play with left hand rotated more on top.
I love watching these Dan Grieve lessons
I used to be brilliant with pitching and chipping 😊 then I tried to improve on my longer game and ended up with the yips due to tension in my forearms. After ruining so many games because of this I'm going to try that claw method!
Who is the big weirdo in red jumper and shades leaning against the tree
I really enjoy these segments. We'll done.
Dan Grieve is seriously good. Av watched him before and everything is kept so simple and tailored specifically to the golfer! That's how you coach. Unreal 👍
Thank You Dan, you have absolutely changed my short game. I have been using your techniques for a while. I used to be a one club chipper, but now I work from the 9 iron down to the 56. Thank you so much for these great videos.
Can relate to that “fear of the ground” statement Dan makes ../only takes a couple fat shots till i start thinning it ….but ima mess everywhere lately 😬🤷🏼♂️👍🏼✌️
I might actually try Jimmy's claw b&r! I'm good with speed but often have trouble hitting my lines due to my club path
I watched many YouTube vids regarding golf instruction.
Without doubt Dan is the number one for short game/ wedge shots around the green
Brillant
Absolute quality content Bulldog, I love it. As a high handicap golfer this is exactly what I need and i’ve also given Dans page a naughty little subscribe too!
bloke in the back, trying to sneak in a free lesson, love it 😀
Dan is a legend. When it comes to short game he's the only one you need to watch.

loving this coach, great vid, tbh im putting off going to lessons as i am afraid that the coach will ask me to start again from scratch and cancel out everything ive self taught myself . high handicapper but in my 50s think im too old to start all over again. im going to bite the bullet and get a lesson soon off local coach who ive chatted with at the club, only one way to find out , great vid .
Thank you, Mr. Dan grieve sharing your knowledge on short games.
Great lesson, Jimmy’s initial swing compensation reminded me of a more cricket like stroke
