This International team is a disaster, and should have guys like Joaquin Niemann, Cameron Smith, Marc Leishman, Louis Oosthuizen, Dean Burmester, Abraham Ancer, Anirban Lahiri in the team. The US team would also be strengthened having Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau in their lineup.
The choice of Mike Weir as captain was of course due to him being a Canadian, but he’s a completely forgotten man of golf, and they could’ve again gone with Ernie Els instead.
If this event wants real home crowd support, the Presidents Cup must return to South Africa. It’s a disgrace that so many South Africans have overall, won more Majors than any country on the list of countries that represent the International team.
