3 Indoor Golf Practice Tips – Stance, Backswing, Follow Through

In my latest YouTube tutorial, I share three crucial indoor golf practice tips that are perfect for beginners aiming to refine their game at home. First, I highlight the importance of your stance, explaining how to approach the golf ball with your feet closed and directly in front of the ball. This ensures correct alignment, which is a key setup tip for any indoor golf practice. Next, I introduce an effective drill: visualize an imaginary line behind the golf ball and mimic pushing a second ball along this line during your backswing to keep it straight.

For my third tip, I focus on the importance of follow-through, urging you to shift your body weight towards your forward foot during the swing. This not only generates more power but also prevents you from getting stuck on your back leg, a common issue for beginners. To help you solidify these concepts, I offer a free guide on grip, game, posture, and stance, available through my promotional channels. If you’re looking to dive deeper, I invite you to follow my Instagram for daily tips and join my new program, “Fun and Fundamentals,” designed to enhance both your enjoyment and skill in golf.

  1. If you don't have time to head to the course here are 3 Indoor Golf Practice Tips to get you right. Keeping an eye on our Stance, the backswing in golf or the first movement in the golf swing and lets make sure to end our golf swing with your body weight in the front following through. Let me know below if it was helpful.

  2. So I am new to golf. I bought a set of clubs off of Facebook marketplace. Took them to a driving range and went from the 9 iron up to the driver. Everything was good until I got to the driver. Every time I connected the ball I would slice it. Could that be because I want to crush it so I close my eyes before connecting? I also think, since I want to crush it, I'm not going back straight.
