O line and D lines are the keys to the rest of the season for the BIG BLUE.
I dont agree with Edmonton to bench Tre Ford
I played for the Eastside Eagles
Missed the live chat….but followed up later in the evening. Bombers run game defence has me worried. MBT is definitely not a Tre Ford mobility wise however he gets rid of the ball quickly. The defence will need to change their scheme against him and let's not underestimate the Elks. I'm still thinking the score will be close again as Edmonton is fighting for their playoff lives and are motivated. Brady needs to be dominating on the ground if we want success and Zach needs to protect the ball and not force throws in bad situations. If we win this game we certainly increase our odds of securing first in the West…..which would be a coup considering our 2-6 start.

Zach and Kenny need to step it up as some of highest paid players in the CFL at their positions. They both have shown flashes here and there however we need more consistency from both of them down the stretch……and I am a huge Zach Collaros fan!! Kenny made some great catches in the last game but he also dropped two that were drive killers. He's one of the highest paid receivers and he needs to make those tough catches.
Kyrie Wilson unfortunately is always injured…..how many games has he played this season? He has been hurt in previous seasons as well…..he's a great player when healthy but you can't win a Cup from the tub.
Bethel-Thompson has shown that he is a " gunslinger" in the back to back games he won against Calgary. He gets the ball out quickly and with no pressure could get the ball long to some good receivers. He also will run when the backs drop off. Rushing only 3 may not work this time for the Big Blue. If he doesn't get pressure , he could shred the Bombers D. And the Blue offence getting only 10 points after being handed 4 turnovers is a real concern. This game is not a "gimmee" for the Bombers and I hope they wratch up their offence effort this game. Zach also got good protection from the O-line this time – hope this continues. And looking to see the 13th man loud crowd getting on the Elks – could be the big difference for this game. Go Bombers!
