Chris Lee, Alfred Ezman and Graham Doty talk with The Daily Beacon’s Caleb Jarreau about Tennessee’s national title and the direction of the program. Topics include:
– The rise in interest and commitment of the fan base and donors this decade that led to success in NIL and also future facilities improvements, and how AD Danny White has helped with that.
– Why the stadium renovations have been pushed back a year.
– The Vols loaded up in the transfer portal in the offseason.
– How will Tennessee line up next year in the infield with incumbent Dean Curley returning but the Vols also adding Louisville transfer Gavin Kilen?
– What will the Vols’ pitching rotation look like, and who’ll fit in the bullpen?
– Given his popularity, it’s hard to see coach Tony Vitello leaving Knoxville.
– And more!

He is knowledgeable but these answers are waayyyy too long and repetitve.
The daily beacon is not a great source. It is a student news paper. You want to have someone on have Ben McGee or Eric Cain.
Hes a knowledgeable kid. The beacon is a good starting point and i appreciate this crew giving him the opportunity to improve. And damn has he improved. Look up his first interview with Big O. He was red faced mess and now he's speaking well
Christopher, I am disappointed in you. They are not a dynasty. Our Vandy boys are a dynasty.
Baseball? Baseball? We have football and were talking baseball??..remember you win a championship in the sec in baseball you suck the following year… im sure thats a rule.
✌❤⚾️🍊
…and Ben McKee. He's been covering baseball for several years
I remember working Tennessee baseball and watching South Carolina take BP with huge grown men and then watching Tennessee roll out not the greatest of lineups. Now it’s completely flipped. One of the craziest things though is just keeping Tennessee kids in state and in orange. Saw year after year of those kids leaving and starting in power programs. Last note: when will Mizzou take baseball seriously? That’s the worst baseball stadium in the conference.
