Poor kim, going to be heard to get a good pay day for him next year. He might get a proving contract next year. He's more than likely going to reject his 8 million dollar option next year.

7:23 Agree Ben! I'm ambivalent about AJ Preller's overall tenure as the Padres GM and am sometimes surprised he is STILL here. Regardless of that, you're correct. Despite having to significantly reduce payroll he has built a solid team this season with quality veterans coming off the bench. 2024 is only the 5th time in franchise history the Padres have achieved 90+ wins, and like you said they were 50-50 at one point. It feels great being excited about October!
He most likely won't be back… but while he was here he played hard and played well for the Padres. Best of luck
