An Easy Way to Pick Up a Couple Miles an Hour

Three-time major championship winner and Hall of Famer, Padraig Harrington, recently collaborated with us to give away a golf lesson. After reviewing the golfer’s swing, one of the tips Padraig gave him was to help ease the tension in his body before starting the swing.

Padraig referenced long drivers and how they’re always moving—constantly bouncing back and forth—to ensure they maintain some motion before starting their golf swing.

If you’re a golfer who spends a lot of time frozen over the ball, sorting through thoughts, that tension can really limit your ability to be athletic through your swing. That tension could also be holding back your power.
