  1. Enjoy your podcast! Being kiwi, Lydia all the way. No doubt Nelly has an unbelievable season. But I think Lydia won on historical significance. One day, we'll look at LPGA and remember those moments!

  2. And Lydia is so respectful of Stacey Lewis and she was top amateur at the old course when Stacey won. Two of my favourites.

  3. Gosh, what a choice? Nelly or Lydia? Can I have both? Or Jessica Korda maybe? But for this week's tournament go Emma T and Christina Kim!

  4. Great topics.

Congratulations to the USA team for a great performance. Stacey did a great job with the pairings. Thompson had a chance to win it for the storybook ending, but Vu pulled it off in the end. So happy for all the golfers on both teams. Great event. So entertaining and even woke up early in Hawaii to watch the singles matches on Sunday.

I'd take Lydia's season over Nelly's. Both are having amazing seasons, but gold medal plus major championship plus Hall of Fame. Yes please. She's had a quiet year overall, but made huge splashes when it counted. To win all three Olympic meals, that's very special. 🤙

  5. Quick 3:
-1- Congratulations and best wishes to Ally Ewing on a fantastic playing career, as she has officially announced her retirement following the conclusion of this season. One of the under-the-radar, classiest acts on tour will surely be missed by her fellow competitors and fans alike.
-2- Mao Saigo, Jin Hee Im, & Gabriela Ruffels are currently 1, 2, & 3 in a tight Rolex Rookie of the Yr Award points race. Unlike in past yrs, one single player hasn't separated herself as the clear standout rookie thus far.
-3- My picks to keep an 👁 on at Walmart this wk:
    Grace Kim
    Ruixin Liu
    Yealimi Noh
    Jenny Shin

  6. Thanks, everyone, what a great pleasure to hear from The Captain. Looking forward to seeing Emma on the leaderboard 🙏❤️

  7. I dont know because they both are just incredible players. I love Nelly's swing and distance. If her putting is .more consistently good then I feel she would have won more tournaments this year for sure. For me the best golf swing in the world. Lydia Ko, just a legend in golf history. A different game compared to Nelly, but she knows how to win. Accurate drives and fairway shots and consistent putting. A true gem in the golf world. Amazing record. Though Nelly has plenty more golf to play, and because im from New Zealand, im picking Lydia Ko.

  8. As a newbie to this podcast, I have to say I am super impressed. I enjoyed it so much i hardly noticed that hour pass. Thank you. All your efforts are appreciated.
For me, the Lydia/Nelly year question is to tough to call. Keep asking these type of fun challenging thinkers. With your point of views added, I think it helps fans dig a little deeper in appreciatiing different aspecs we may not have considered, giving a greater understanding of so many aspecs of the LPGA.
Looks like I have missed some really great content over the previous episodes. You can be sure I'll be back.
Thank you Emma, Hope, Adam, Stacy, and to the reast of the LPGA family who helped make this gem happen. Cheers!

  9. Lydia all the way. She is a shining light. She gives soooo much to her game. Her fans. Her interviews. She is by far the whole package. She is always upbeat. Has a fantastic attitude. She interacts amazingly with her fellow players. Thats what i see.
Lots and lots of love admiration. For such a great Kiwi. From a Kiwi. ❤❤❤

  10. Lydia’s win over in St Andrews home of golf was incredible, all the number 1’s are on the top 10, she came out the winner. She seems to win in a significant important events. Her experience and calmness is such a joy to watch and she makes good interviews 😊.

  11. Just curious as I am not a golfer but when you are at the top of your game, why do you need a coach.?
I follow golf because of our kiwi girl 😊

  12. thank you for the podcast! I also vote for Lydia, winning the olympic gold medal, st andrews and entering into the hall of fame is unmatched.
