  1. I really hope that Tom and Darrel enjoy their common fishing sessions. Id say they might be the best duo of presenters. Really looking forvard to more content with these lads

  2. It’d be interesting to know what the carp weigh when they’re landed and what they weight after a night in the sling. I read a chapter in a book years ago (may have been Peter Stone, can’t quite remember). He did an entire chapter on the subject, comparing as-landed weights against weights after a night in a keepnet (bream, chub, tench). The weight drop was remarkable and consistently witnessed, with IIRC chub being the biggest ‘losers’. The overriding conclusion was to weigh your fish immediately on capture if you want the best weights.

Would be really interesting to know if carp suffer similar levels of weight loss from time spent in a sling.

  3. Tom Stokes is such a brilliant angler and a real natural in front of the camera. Love his enthusiasm. I think he would be great with Dovey and Spooner on Monster Carp?

  4. Why add cork to the hookbait and a plastic corn to take weigh off the bait but then add splitshot to the hook to add weight?

  5. Hello, thank you for the kind video and congratulation to the great carps! Thank's for the German subtitles! I really enjoyed watching the video. 🤗😊 But why are poluting the water with so much highly toxic heavy metal? ☹😡Lead ist harmful! You can alternatively use steal weights or stones, if you are not throwing your rods! Best regards and always tight lines! 🙂👍

  6. After 30 years of lies about carpfishing, you can catch carp with plastic baits, you don't need flexible rigs but stiff rigs😂
