    What made Dennis Rodman, the best defensive player ever! Wasn't rebounding or his defensive play. Though it was the best! What made him the best player ever, his ability, drive his opponent!! He just knew how to get in their head and piss them off! Dennis Rodman would change the momentum of a game in his team's favor, because he was always screwing with people! People hated Dennis Rodman hated to play him so much! Because he would drive them!! They were thinking about how they were going deal with Rodman, before the game even started!!lol😂😂😂😂

    During my Senior year in high school (2004/2005) my Varsity basketball teammates and I were at a mall in Santa Monica. We were in the area for a basketball tournament. Now, anyone who personally knows me knows that Rodman was on my top 5 list of basketball players while growing up. Anyways, while strolling around the mall a bunch of my teammates came running up to me yelling "Dennis Rodman is here!" So we all go over to him at the other end of the mall. He was by himself just walking around/shopping. All of my teammates were too scared to walk up to him and talk. I of course wasn't and humbly approached him. He smiled and talked to me about life and basketball for about 45 minutes as my teammates just stared. He even asked why they were scared. I just laughed and told him I don't know why….. Oh yea, I probably should have mentioned earlier that I was wearing his black and red #91 Bulls jersey lol. He of course signed it and I still have it framed and hanging on the wall to this day in my man-cave. Dennis was the coolest celebrity I've talked with, other than Nick Cannon, who I used to produce music for his little brother. I've lived in Hollywood and San Diego while doing music and restaurant work in my early 20's. Then managing at luxury hotels in several big cities during my early 30s before joining the Army. So I've seen and lived right next to countless celebrities. I almost never ask for autographs and pictures. I just treat them like regular people, because they are just regular people to me in most cases. But I acted like a Stan that night in Santa Monica.

    Looking back at that 3 year stretch it's still baffling how the Bulls even managed to win 3 championships together with Rodman. The guy is just highly toxic to play around with that the Spurs even released him to the Bulls in an attempt to spoil their chemistry, not even counting Pippen who is starting to get seriously disatisfied with Jerry Kraus and the Bulls management by not giving him the contract he wants and even delaying his surgery as a protest. In today's NBA that group couldn't possibly even get past the play-in with how broken their organization was but they've won anyway and a 3-peat no less. Wow… I guess that team is just so good at the time that they are actually giving the entire NBA a huge handicap and still dominating the league in style. If that wasn't GoAT enough I don't know what is.
