Imo, the only way we'd be in the running for houston is a three-way trade that sees port getting pick 12, lukosius, and richards.

Joe Richards is a keep for sure. So clean with the ball in hand, got every piece of footy IQ you could want, and is a proven goal kicker
If we can secure pick12 from Gold Coast for noble that gets us into the draft. Maybe even swap p12 for 2 second round picks. Get recycled players that just need salary (no picks) . If we have good run with injuries in 2025 we are a huge chance for flag.
We don't need to pay the bucks for Dan Houston, or Perryman, no way. I like what Joe Richards brings to the forward line, a solid pre-season will benefit Joe. Dean is worth another year or so if he recovers.

Package Richards with Noble for Houston with GC and Port Adelaide. Richards has played 9 games with a bit of promise. Noble's value is diminished by the fact he was drafted as mid season draft. It's my perception if he was a regular drafted player he would be held in higher regard in terms of his worth. Throw in a future second rounder if required. Just do it.
