Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This YouTube channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!

I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.

I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!

On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.

If you enjoy the channel make sure you hit subscribe and also tap the notification bell so that you are always notified when I release a new video.

  1. I have the 923 hot metals and I love the look of them. I got fitted for them and my swing has changed. It’s been a bit of a process to find my swing with these clubs but I still love them

  2. I think it's Europe in general isn't a huge market for Mizuno. In the US, they are highly regarded as some of the best irons you can buy.

  3. Ive been looking at the 925 and 923 models for a couple of weeks now ( high handicapper ) will wait to watch the high launch vid before making up my mind but seeing some of the comments has pretty much made up my mind that I’ll be treating myself to a set of Mizuno irons very soon

  4. Finally Rick is finding out what everyone else knew when the 923's hit. The HL was/is a game changer. Notice how many other brands have done the same?

  5. Here is the Prob, I play MP's my 7 iron is 34 degrees, so when Rick said this 7 iron goes miles, of course it bloody does it is cranked to 27 Degrees

  6. i had a set of mizuno jpx tours, and hated them. short irons were tremendous, but the long irons are god awful. went back to my pings and have been there ever since

  7. The 923 Hot Metal Pro is in play on LPGA, in the 3&4 iron for Bailey Tardy. She uses the JPX 923 Tour for the rest of the bag.

  8. I feel like you have a little unfair bias against Mizuno woods, wedged and putters.

The irons are well known for their excellence but they have really closed the gap on their whole line even the golf ball.

  9. Rick love your videos. but l'm 65 with a 16 handicap. Would love to see what someone like me can do with these club. Just to see if they help.

  10. Problem with Mizuno's, they tend to be over priced for what they are. If they were in the same proce range as Cobra, they would probably sell better.

  11. I like when you review clubs for the average golfer. That being said, a couple weeks ago you reviewed the Apex TI fusion irons, any chance you could review the Apex Ai200 and Ai300? These are much more designed for the average golfer than the fusions.

  12. Been playing Mizuno for over 15 years plus. 923 Forged current set. Just can't beat the feel. Some are close but not the Mizzy feel. You know when you know.

  13. I bought myself a set of 923’s like a month before these got announced and I was like damn as soon as I buy them they bring out the new and improved
