  1. Silva is more comfortable in deep woods, rocky, cold, windy and drizzling. The type of woods where you expect a wolf pack to show up momentarily. She'll pull it together shortly. Two hot geese crack me up and make FPO worth watching. MPO sucks.

  2. What on earth were they thinking when they made the green for 14?
I doubt anyone is going to miss that next year…

  3. I really enjoy listening to you guys, but quickly got sick to death hearing you complain about how difficult this course is for the vast majority of the field, which tells me the vast majority of the field are simply not good enough players to play this course, the reason I know this is Emily, Evelina, and other players are tearing the place up, so it is gettable, you just have to play well enough, if you can't that's on you not the course. I'm 5 holes in watching the guys and they haven't once mentioned how difficult the course is. play well and good luck.

  4. Cartoonishly (my favorite adjective) uphill would work well to describe hole 15's pin (or 14). If you want to take it a step further and name a cartoon that makes it sound even more uphill you could go with Dr. Suess-idly uphill. If you wanted to be more serious and send a message to Nate, go with unreasonably uphill. Or stupidly, or idiotically. Honestly if they get any moisture it's going to be really dangerous on 14 as well as the already luck based roll away scoring.

  5. Hole 14 is desert golf. Paul bringing in what other countries deal with. I kinda like it. But you also have to think about the safety of the players. Can't be falling down and getting road rash mid tournament.

  6. These greens are terrible. So much luck involved in scoring here. The course in general is not great for the overall FPO field. They need to stop designing FPO layouts for the top 5 distance throwers. Put a few holes in for them but this is probably pretty ugly once you get outside the top 20.

  7. Green on hole 14 welcome to the circus indeed! I agree with Madison it's only a matter of time until they put the green on a wall. Roll-away city.

  8. Mildly compelling because of the competition and the stakes at play, mildly compelling because of the personalities and dynamics of the FPO field, I just wish there were anything compelling about this course.

I prefer watching FPO over MPO, in general, because the FPO division usually are playing the same sport I am, and it’s the sport I love to play and watch. I’m not going to say that what I’m watching is complete trash, and I love the Geese obviously, but I am not watching disc golf, and that’s kind of what I tuned in for.

And it’s 3 rounds of whatever this is vs. 2 rounds of actual disc golf at the other course? Fail!

  9. FPO commentary has become 50 minutes of complaining about how colossally difficult the courses are. How impossibly difficult it is. How extremely hilly it is. How biggly the tree's are. We get it, you think WORLDS should be hosted at your local par 3.

  10. If you need 500 miles of string ,multiple elevated baskets and baskets placements in places that could cause serious injury just taping in, you’re probably not a very good course designer . Chuckers paradise 😝

  11. I actually love this course. Hard but fair. It also requires you to throw different angles left to right, right to left. It’s asking you to shoot even par. It is attackable but when you attack it brings bogey into play. The greens making your approach an actual skill. Not just running it form 80ft with no risk. This course is what professional disc golf needs.

  12. Great commentary once again!!!!
Ivy Hill does not give us the chance to watch the world's best players excel and I feel for the ladies playing it. Never before have I found it so difficult to watch due to the boring set up of the course not allowing the players to show off there amazing skills, surely there are better courses more suited for a world championship tournament in my opinion? The European Open was way more enjoyable to watch. Well done girls !!!!!

  13. Terrible course. Any time you have to use so much OB to make up a course, you're doing it wrong. Natural challenges are best.
