Arcadia Bluffs! The best course in Michigan?
We are on our way to find out. The Arcadia Bluffs South Course is pretty great itself! The morning before we played the bluffs we enjoyed a great round at Arcadia’s brand new South Course! The 2nd course at Arcadia brings its own unique flavor to the Arcadia experience. A round at the South course, while flat and open at first glance, presents unique challenges that can quickly leave a golfer scratching their head.
With challenging greens, a minefield of bunkers, and an overall “squared-off” theme, the South Course at Arcadia Bluffs is a must-play!

Awesome video – an 80 from 7,100 yards is solid! Haven't been up to Arcadia yet but hope to make the trip soon
First rate production, guys! The Vlog's continue to only get better. One of the complaints in the golf architecture world of Arcadia Bluff's – South is that it's too much of a MacDonald – Raynor replica course. It tends to get marked down in the rankings because of this, yet Old MacDonald (Old Mac, for short), a similar style of tribute course Tom Doak designed at Bandon Dunes shortly after the resort opened, is highly praised and is consistently ranked in the Top 20 courses in America. In Doak's favor, he had a much nicer piece of land to work with than Dana Fry did, but it would be interesting to compare and contrast the two given the similarities they share – in particular some of the green complexes. I've yet to play either, but both are on my "knock off" list. Looking forward to the the "Bluffs" video debut.
I live just down the road. Shot 72 2 weeks ago. Nice production and view of the course. It’s a treasure. As much so with the locals as the original bluffs course.
