  1. FACT CHECK – is it Paige's FATHER or GRANDFATHER?? Pic is of her grandfather. Same on her social media post. Might want to correct that.

  2. Every time I play a pro level course I am exhausted afterwards. It does take some of the fun out of it

  3. The course for DGLO is 24 years old. It's always been punishing. I can see how they complain that this is becoming too common, but this isn't new or surprising for the Toboggan.

  4. It is always quite amusing how European courses are praised and how bad OB's are and if we look at the Beast in Nokia. I think every hole has OB. I really like playing that course.

I didn't like the course in Tallinn that is next year's European Open course. It is all OB and that course is in Europe, of course. Krokhol has a lot of OB too and it has been rated as one of the best courses in the world.

I would say that OB itself is not really a problem, but how OB lines are done.

If rough is like it is in DGLO, there has to be OB. Thorn bushes and places you can't really get into or throw from should never be IB and lie to throw from.

Woods golf is the best and even better if there are some slightly more open holes.

And there are a lot of horrible courses in Europe and fantastic courses in the US. Finland has a lot of wooded courses for a reason. We have a lot of forests.

One reason for injuries is that disc golfers have only recently started to focus on their physical training and I am sure there is still a lot to improve on that. Most players are eating a lot of junk food, staying up too late before tournament rounds etc. I have nothing against it, but if you want to stay healthy and have a long career, might be worth paying attention to life style.

  5. I am a big fan of Euro golf and watch all of the MDG Media coverage. They do have wood courses and rock courses. However most of the holes have a line or two carved out. If you hit your line, you have a chance at a bird. If you go off the fairway, nature punishes you enough. There is no need for OB to pile on the player. A good mix of open a woods is fun to watch. Seeing a player chop their way 50' at a time down a wodded hole is FRUSTRATING. I'd rather mow my lawn.

  6. This is at least the second video where I’ve heard you guys say something like “Kristin Tattar got her first podium since her injury earlier this year”. That’s absolutely incorrect.

She won her first tournament back, Krokhol. She won European Open. She got 3rd at Worlds, and 3rd at DGO.

I enjoy the videos, but wanted to note that correction because I’ve heard the statements more than once now.

  7. Oh my goodness – so much fussing. Too easy, too much OB, too many backups, too much chance. You fuss the hole that wrecked Barela, then fuss when they try to fix it.

They can't please everyone, I guess. Go figure.

  8. It’s nearly impossible to watch this video with the voiceover narration and then all the messaging and tweets presented on screen. We are listening to the narrator, but then we try to read the tweet, get halfway and then the narrator and tweet change, etc..

  9. Why don’t all the little girls that don’t want to play a long course go sign up for the fpo. Bradley Williams weak and still not winning in the woods or short courses lol keep crying girls

  10. Just keep putting Nate Heinhold to develop and TD courses, Eventually DGPT will see how bad he is at both and will make changes.

  11. I know people hate man-made OB lines I get it, but this is a sport where top pros make almost every putt from 50 feet and in. How is it fair that someone who hits the bullseye makes the same score as someone in C2 consistently? There must be hazards. This isn’t your local course, it’s the Pro Tour

  12. Guys, it is still their JOB, I want to have FUN playing, for rec or for dough. It can still be hard and fun. But arbitrarily frustrating is just dumb.

  13. Let me just say this. Watching Luke Humphries and Paul Omen attack the really cool disc golf coarses in Mexico and New Zealand pre-pro tour was very fun to watch and unique. I loved it. I wish the pro tour was more like it. Sorry if i butchered the names.

  14. Punishment for throwing mediocre shots isn't the same as challenging. Tight OB can be good in places, but there needs to be less OB in general; OB should be for places you can't get your disc back (water or super thick bushes) or places it's dangerous for the disc to go (roads, the fairway of another hole, etc.). Barring that, let them play it where it lies. Adding a random stroke adds nothing to the game.

Woods are more fun and lead to more creative shot making. The occasional bomber hole should still exist because throwing far is cool and should be rewarded, but having a good forehand roller should be at least as important as being able to throw 500' instead of "merely" throwing 450'.

  15. I think some people dont realize how iconic some of the courses on tour are and how much work goes into getting them ready 4 play as well as the fact that every year or time they play that course cleans up a location/clubs local course.
