3% is a crock. If you just guess what each play is, you have in theory a 50% chance of being right on run or pass. Knowing the plays gets you to 100%. If a program like WMU knew all of Ohio State’s plays, sure the game would be closer, but the talent gap would ensure Ohio State wins. For a perennial B-tier program like Michigan, who has decent talent but consistently failed against the best teams and was just not quite good enough, knowing the other team’s plays was enough to take them from B-tier to A-tier. It made a massive difference that can’t be understated. Just look at their previous 20 years as evidence. It’s not a small sample size.

As a university and program, The Cheaters Up North / The (Morally and Ethically) Scum Up North are way beyond comprehension and well beyond understanding as they are “camped well outside the boundaries of reality.” Blatant recruiting violations, the absolute worst onfield scandal in history, illegal betting on the result of the signals you knew, the basketball team, the hockey team, and the M-Den financial woes.
