The epitome of luxury. Vana Belle, a Luxury Collection Resort on Koh samui island, Thailand is an understated, modern and beautiful property made even better by its exceptionally professional and friendly staff.

The grounds are impeccable. It is on a bit of a hill so there’s a lot of vertical walking (especially from the lobby to the beach/pool area). Luckily, they have multiple golf carts to shuttle you to the entrance, the lobby, the gym and the pool/beach – not that the property is large, but you’ll appreciate it on a hot, humid day trying to climb up a steep hill.

Each room, I believe, has a private plunge pool in the balcony. The rooms are pristinely cleaned throughout the day. Our room had a large walk-in closet, a modern bathroom set up facing our private pool and the ocean, a large plush king bed and floor to ceiling windows, so we would always see the beautiful sunrise. It was luxurious.

The pool by the beach is large, heated and well supervised by staff who are constantly refilling your water, making sure you have sunscreen and bug spray handy. The beach is an extension of the main Chaweng Beach but separated by large rocks so it’s more secluded and intimate. The staff also clean the beach in front of the hotel regularly so it’s extra clean compared to neighboring resorts.

They offer daily activities for adults and children – morning, day, and night. We joined their sunrise yoga, muay thai classes, and their occasional cocktail hour.

I’ll make a full YouTube review shortly but for now, enjoy a Short on our 5 night stay at Vana Belle.
