Gethin Jenkins ‘Melon’ and Adam Jones ‘Bomb’ are 2 modern greats. Both test centurions who won 3 Six Nations Grandslams together for Wales. This accolade puts the Props in the same company as Sir Gareth Edwards, Gerald Davies and the late JPR Williams.

Both represented the British & Irish Lions, both are now coaching but, inbetween were involved in some of Wales’s greatest days. This show reveals what made them such a formidable pair.

  1. Nonu and Smith have to be on. Greatest ever centre partnership, pairing one of the most intelligent players ever with one of the most destructive players ever. Match made in heaven.

  2. I never thought I’d say this as a fullback , but let’s get a an all prop episode Marler these two other jones Leonard victor Obogu

  3. jeez haskell has to slip in a coke reference every episode, no wonder he talks about himself so much

  4. Great show – loved the work experience as a bear in a cave (how Welsh?!?). Maybe a little older school but Dooley & Ackford would be entertaining?

  5. A long time ago, I was in the check-in queue at Edinburgh airport and FlyBe were trying to sting me for going a kilo overweight on my hold bag. Behind me was Adam Jones in his prime. Ospreys had played Edinburgh a few days prior. I turned around to see one of my favourite rugby players ever, Mr. Jones, in the flesh, and mentioned to the check-in clerk that the man stood behind me was likely three times my weight. Adam gave a quick glance at my 5' 3" frame, 8 stone soaking wet, and uttered, "call it four…", with a broad grin. I did not have to pay for my excess baggage that day. I could have stood inside that man's shadow.

  6. Am amazing partnership of tow amazingky chilled out human beings. Great great players and we look forward to their futures. Thank you. 🎉🎉

  7. Have to apologies to tinds.. just bumped into him at a local restaurant… Terrible chat, just couldn’t pass the op to say hi and tell him that i love the pod.. soz again big’un

  8. 2 points:
    1) Something needs to happen in the sport to make it financially sustainable and it’s only common sense to look at what is happening elsewhere in the sports world with the investment from Saudi Arabia- doesn’t make it right but a good conversation starter
    2) Old theme I know but it doesn’t help that Rugby is split into Union and League, the support is often split between the 2

  9. Rugby needs investment. Very few profitable clubs and even those in the green are not generating much. I think it’s a good idea. You would have 8 teams with the best players. The other leagues would remain the same with development players who can be drafted in. No relegation and this leagues funds the others. No impact on the international game, players play less matches. The money must flow down to the grass roots.

  10. Came on to hear what Adam and Gethin have to say and someone keeps taking over and interrupting and adding their stories in.

    Let the guests speak 🤬🤬

  11. Not often i squirm at a riding video. Not even the crash at darkfest made me wince, but that, that had me in buts watching

  12. Sleighthome or Barbearry are gonna be man of the match now you left them out! 😂
Such a hard combined 15 to pick.
I Have absolutely zero affiliation with either town or club but I cannot wait to watch.

  13. Could have had Matthew Rees on as well … Jenkins, Rees, Jones that's the partnership.
