I don't understand the issue with the Tour Championship… the most consistent golfer for the entire year is given an earned advantage at the start of the week. Its not like they randomly pick names out of a hat to see who will start at -10, players have to earn their spot. Besides, starting at -10 doesn't guarantee a win. Any player could choke it away.
"It wasn't an exciting finish", yeah, sometimes that happens in golf. Any player on any day could shoot a 60 and start to run away with it.

I loved watching popular creators play a tour level course from the tips in tour level conditions. Having said that, Rick and Grant Horvat should have been there to make it even better. Mic the players as watching the follow up videos and their commentary make their videos so entertaining. Not surprised that Luke and Wesley were favorites as they’ve played competition already at high levels. I’m guessing next year’s prize will be more than a vacation and grill, not that anyone is unhappy with winning those. Looking forward to next year’s event and the improvements sure to come 👏🥃

I enjoy watching women’s golf but they have to fix slow play, however because they are all slow nothing is done. I couldn’t quite believe what I was hearing when on the Thursday when Charlie Hull’s group putted out on the 18th, Laura Davies on Sky sports mentioned that they teed off 6hrs 20 mins earlier😮. The weather was an issue which had some impact but that’s just ridiculous

Rick should just do his own creator tournament with more europeans in it. Peter Finch, matt fryer, james robinson, gaz, iona, average golfer and so on.
It's interesting what you are saying about womens golf tournaments and the atmosphere around it, it's the same in football we take our 2 youngest daughters to watch the ladies team as it's more family friendly. Maybe something that is across all sports.

I like rick but i’m bothered he can’t be honest that he’s not even a scratch golfer… getting offended by grants comment to give handicap and ranking himself among the top of youtube golf (score wise) is ridiculous… reality check please… you werent invited because you wouldve come last… love everything else about you tho man wouldve been cool to see you be the commentator but cmon man you would not be a contender …
The tour championship should be changed so instead of strokes you get mulligans 😉 It's still an advantage per se, but it's not a full stroke especially at that level. As for the creator classic… the fact that they didn't invite Rick is a travesty. I know many many people who let them know that as well 😉
I get Scottie looks like a normal guy, but no way could he walk around a golf training center without being recognized.

I think it’s worth noting that Scottie lost the two stroke lead on literally the first hole of the tournament when he bogeyed and Xander birdied. It was tied on the second hole but he brought it back that day and shot the round of the day.

39:32 I see what you're saying , and I'd say that it depends on how you look at it as a sport.
In one way, it makes perfect sense that he would have won the season prior to these last three competitions, just based on how many points he has earned. Like for example Premier League football style, no playoffs etc. Most points acquired at the end of a pre-determined amount of games/competitions wins season.
Or you look at it like for example Ice hockey (NHL, SHL etc). As long as you make it to the playoffs, you have a chance of winning the entire season, but based on how good you've played during regular season you gain some advantages (sometimes pick first round to play against, better seeding, home ice advantage etc.)
It all depends on how "fair" you want it to be, or just simply that you have to be the very best when it means the most, to be ultimate clutch in your play. Yes, injuries happen, but that's all part of the game.
Personally, i see no problem with either – however I always prefer playoff system, underdogs given the chance etc.
Also, it's to me absolutely WILD that you were not invited to the Creator Classic. For me you are the OG-golf content channel out there. Big fan of you guys, keep doing what you do!
Bit of alcohol related factoidage for ya – you're subbing ice cream for booze because your body is used to the level of sugars present in the alcohol you were drinking. Alcoholics talk about this all the time, and in fact, hard candies like jolly ranchers, life savers, etc., are used to help fight that craving for alcohol, because you're not only craving that, but also the sugars. Good on ya for dropping the drinking Rick, it can only bring good things! 😊
When will you be responding to the Legends Tour video. I think when you accused them of cheating, that's a big deal in golf. We need some response pretty quickly, it's really bad form mate!
I think they need to do a creator series at all the signature events to win the creator cup at the end of the year

I feel like part of the reason you probably weren't invited is the fact you don't put yourself out there as much as Peter does. Feels like Peter has certainly been over to the US to play with other creators more than you in this last year. I do like your content Rick, but it is starting to feel a bit stale. We've seen Peter post numerous competition videos, as well as matches with different people, but apart from one from you trying to qualify for the open and a few matches with pro's, it's just you and Guy doing the same thing again and again.
As soon as you create a playoff at the end of a season, there is no guarantee the player with the best season wins. Just like other sports that have playoffs. Otherwise, they can run it like F1 and Scheffler would have won the season well before the last event and could have faked a season ending injury
